Pep is more likely to rest players in a cup final than a game that could be pivotal for the CL. I still think he might if the Bournemouth game is still important. It wouldn’t surprise me at all to see a cup final line up that includes Grealish, Rico Lewis, Savinho and Foden.

I think 2 wins is needed mathematically. Chelsea have to play Newcastle and Forest, so all 3 of them can't get 70 points, and Villa can only get 69 points.

These guys have got 11 points and looked awful against Leicester yesterday we've got to be winning comfortably and I don't see why we won't. Chelsea play newcastle next weekend too so we should be all but there for CL by the end of next weekend

I’d give O’Reilly a week off ahead of the Cup final. Young players are inconsistent and playing too frequently can sometimes get them in a rut after a poor performance. Seen it many times across football. Akanji could do with the minutes n’all.

Not a bad thing ahead of the Club World Cup. We will be better off having to be ‘on it’ to the end of the PL season so we’re peaking into that tournament.

A good point but the only negative to that is that Pep will stick Gvardiol in at LB again and he could end up there permanently.
