A recently unearthed social media post by Elad Barashi, an Israeli producer associated with Channel 14, has sparked public outrage and condemnation for advocating a Holocaust against Gaza’s 2.3 million residents.

"In his lengthy post, Barashi made the claim that the entire population of Gaza “deserve death.”

“Men, women, and children — by any means necessary, we must simply carry out a Shoah [Holocaust] against them — yes, read that again — H-O-L-O-C-A-U-S-T!”

“Without fear, without weakness — just crush. Eliminate. Slaughter. Flatten. Dismantle. Smash. Shatter,” he added.

“Without conscience or pity — children and parents, women and girls — all of them are marked for a cruel and harsh death.”

Hopefully a Holocaust that slaughters every man, women and child, "by any means necessary", without fear, weakness or pity will ensure the safe return of the hostages

This ignorant nasty perverted person sums up his stupidity with his final sentence. Does he believe that as they slaughter thousands of people the hostages will remain alive ?

There must be some decent israelis but they are very hard to find.

Hugely depressing viewing. Don’t think there was a single settler or proponent thereto that I remotely warmed to and this absolute fucking horeshit about what some **** might have written down thousands of years ago having any credence or relevance today is tedious and preposterous in equal measure.

Watching those deluded, horrible, entitled sociopathic cunts on there simply reinforced why humanity is completely fucked.

Advocating for the killing of anybody is one thing, advocating for the killing of children is different level evil.

The documentary No Other Land which recently won an Oscar and is by a palestinian and Israeli about the illegal Israeli occupation in the West Bank is free to stream on channel 4. If you liked the Louis thereux documentary you will like this - you see a lot more of what goes on in the West Bank (settler violence and attacks, the use of bulldozers to crush people's houses and playgrounds, pouring concrete down wells so they dont have clean water etc):

@Scottyboi I fully get that its a very emotive and tragic topic. The only reason I think (and accept others might think otherwise) releasing the hostages would be helpful is the way in which they were taken in the first place (wasn't a good look) and the fact they were all civilians - not military. If Hamas were to release them it would increase International pressure (I think) on Israel to stop attacking the Palestinians. If Hamas don't want to release them for whatever reasons they may have then it is likely more Palestinians will be slaughtered and killed by the Israelis which again is not a good look.
