Florian Wirtz

Nonsense.Yes in hindsight we should have made a couple of changes last summer. Before that there wern't players better than we had, which is why that team won a treble. I don't really care what you think about the minutes the January signings have had the job was to finish top 5 ,we've done that by finding a winning formula. The new players will be part of the future. A future I can't wait for.
You obviously don't trust Pep or the club that have always delivered to build another winning team well that's tough shit come back and see where we are in 12 months. The lack of faith in the club by some is pretty pathetic.
Nonsense yet beside Haaland all the players were flops. Make it sense

The multiple title winning record players are the same from like 5 years ago + Haaland. So yes it seems like they forgot. They buy players and Pep either refuses to use them or doesn’t use them at all even when they play good ( Khusanov) also O’Reilly until he had NO CHOICE.
O'Reilly played well in a couple of cup games at LB Pep decided to give him a run in the PL games the consequence of that was Gvardiol went to LCB thus no place for Khusanov
Players bought in January weren't necessarily bought to be first choice he's not refusing to play them they have all had significant minutes
Maybe in 5 years time we will have another group of multiple title winners inc Haaland Trust the club to get it right
The club will be dealing with the agents, players and clubs, not reading the likes of Bild, they have the facts we, the fans, have to work with what the media in the main are publishing

Bild backtracking and basically confirming nothing is agreed and no talks have taken place with Leverkusen. Shock horror.

Leverkusen know that if they want McAtee then Wirtz coming here benefits them. Ortega I imagine slightly separate if he want to go, but I would expect that we're on a good position on the fee front, as half now half I installments would be fine for them especially if we enable a potential replacement too.

Can't deny it, I want Wirtz as a priority and I think he only needs to look to Gundo, Kev and the Silva's experiences here to see how this could make him as a player, and to Rodri to know that champions league and ballon d'or are very possible. He's got a chance of a status here, he'll just be another young German player snagged by the big fish at Munich.

I'd also chuck in that, if he does get home sick or crave a move away for any reason at any point, City are far more likely to enable that and not prevent it, than Bayern. What to do back to Leverkusen when you hit thirty two? Probably easier from City than Munich.

Okay but what exactly is wrong there when it happened ? There is a difference between a meeting which is normal than the statement that someone has chosen a certain club. Bild is very reliable when it comes to Munich .

And plenty seem to be reading Bild story incorrectly?

Bild aren't saying he's going to Bayern, they are saying he only wants Bayern.

Important distinction. The information can be factually correct but not result in the outcome.

If he eventually ends up signing somewhere else, it also can't be disproved, regardless.

Wirtz could well want Bayern but there are lots of wishes people want at the time and end up having to accept other realities.

It`s funny that some dont think City will know if Wirtz has chosen Bayern and are just sat there like sad little begging fuckers hoping he changes his mind! If he has indeed informed us of his wish then behind the scenes we will have moved on to new targets but will be fine with our interest being there still to cost Bayern more money!

Your training is now complete, my son...

Go forth...

You have quite literally proven my point. We thought we had them all sorted after doing ground work earlier in the summer then were left looking like mugs at the end when the player opted to sign elsewhere or remain at their club.

The Rice one even dispels the myth that we only bid once we have the player sewn up. We publicly bid for a player only to watch him immediately sign for Arsenal right after.

What’s to say Wirtz hasn’t been giving us the nod whilst his dad has agreed to a move to Bayern? Much like Bellingham.

Rice pivot only happened because Paqueta deal collapsed. Beyond the control of everyone.

Alves was all agreed but he flew to Messi wedding that weekend and asked him to join PSG.

If City already know Wirtz's mindset, then we already know who's next.

I'd love Palmer back.
How much you reckon Chelsea would make a deal at?
He creates goals, scores goals, brilliant at set pieces
I reckon if he came back as the main man he would love it
Can’t see it at all though

The attempted signings of Dani Alves, Alexis Sanchez, Jorginho, Lionel Messi, Harry Kane and Declan Rice suggest City are quite often sat like sad fuckers whilst a player signs for another team or ends up agreeing to stay at their current club at the last minute.

Re Jorginho I did hear from a source at the club that his agent was pretty two faced and deliberately concealed the moves from Chelsea (including a medical) keeping City in the dark and handed out a couple of assurances that the deal would go ahead when he knew full well it was unlikely.

Same money as Wirtz, I'd presume.

Never know what Chelsea finances are and unlikely even then, but he's the one I always thought would be the Kev heir :(

He's very homesick, I know that from family and friends, but a seven year contract isn't going to help that!!

Get it done
If he were at Leverkusen we’d all be desperate to sign him

Correct. Jorginho dragged it out because Sarri told him he would be going to Chelsea as boss.

Our issue wasn't with Napoli at all, it was Jorginho lying to us.

Again, you can't legislate for twunts.
