Villa away to Bournemouth is a hard game, two Spanish managers, I think reverse fixture was a draw.
Newcastle-Chelsea, 6 pointer expect a big fight in this, if it ends in a draw I actually hope Villa and Forest both manage to win to make it fucking close behind us lol.
while Forest should get the 3 points vs awful Leicester and make up some distance on the table.

Chelsea will beat United next friday at home.

Meaning they can even afford to lose tomorrow and take it down to the final day between them and Forest for a do or die game.

If Chelsea can get a point tomorrow at Newcastle and beat United, they only need to draw at Forest.

It's absolutely crazy that we could have a 'disastrous' season and on paper a 2nd place finish and FA Cup final looks great! I can't see Arsenal holding onto 2nd to be honest, their fixtures are hard and their season is over now they've been knocked out of the CL.

It's been a strange league this year, too many teams didn't want to win it and Liverpool got it by default similar to Leicester a few years ago. Next year will be different though, apart from Arsenal bottling it again! :)

No team ever wins it by default. Ever. The best team always wins the league.

That depends on the aim.
If it's to guarantee top 5, one of them winning is best.
If it's to finish as high as possible, a draw is best.

Nice to play first this weekend, hopefully win and then enjoy the cup final next weekend. We will go into Bournemouth knowing what we need to secure it, which is what Pep will have been aiming for. I reckon a point against Bournemouth will secure CL football. Would be lovely for it to be done before then so it can just be a party for Kev.

It’s been a pretty good end to the season, if and when we secure CL football, it will be down to Pep and the teams good form and not being else. The win against Villa was so important, as other results haven’t really helped us out and with Spurs, United and Liverpool likely to be resting players or on the beach, I can’t see that really changing.
