Seat Counters - 2024/25

City's initial allocation was 30,786 and now it is 33,467.

Do we know what Palace's allocation is? Your comment suggests it might be a little less. 30k plus 1800?
Both clubs have about 38-39000 tickets but some are sold by the FA. How many times does this need to be explained?

It actually pisses me off how their decisions negatively impact on ticket sales.

Get the tickets sold ASAP. Especially now it's looking like the 1.5k expensive seats could be an effort to shift.

Today should have had two windows for members and one for reasonable purchasing history, with ability to buy more than one ticket.
They will be an effort to shift because by next week people will have made plans for the weekend. Totally idiocy by the ticket office again. Just like the semi.

I was under the impression that whoever gets the FA ticket gets told whether it's in the Palace or the City end but that the FA members who get them are not necessarily fans of either finalist. Is that wrong?

It’s sort of correct and partially wrong because they are nearly always taken up by fans of the club. When the member club requests the tickets they also request the club. They aren’t free tickets that someone just goes on a jolly, they have to be paid for and they are the cat 1 and 2 tickets. So someone need needs to actively part with hundreds of pounds as well as select the team they support.

I got some tickets last year from my local FA and they were pretty strict about allocations i.e. when advised that I was a City fan, I got tickets in the City end. I assume they get a small allocation for both ends and distribute them accordingly - neutrals would end up in either end.

And before anyone asks how I got tickets, I was involved in local youth football for many years and was seen by the FA as a "deserving case"!

I got the second cheapest category, although I could have gone for the higher priced categories. Not great seats, actually, we were in the highest possible row in tier five!

Palace should sell all theirs being a local game for them and considering they were last there in 2016.
For us it's our third final in a row but I'm sure we'll still sell the majority of our allocation.

Level 5 - just 3 or 4 singles left at £125
Level 1 - I make it 99 left + 288 in that late released block - all at £175.

Level 2 - just not interested.
