my only comment, re worth keeping, time to let go etc...is, it really should not be in the public domain. Kev looks greedy, the club looks cheap. Should have been sorted behind closed doors(it may have been, but not to Kev's satisfaction or understanding) The last thing we want is a slanging match between management and one of our best-ever player.
Bullshit , neither the club or Kev look like anything as no contract was offered so there was nothing to accept or reject that much has been confirmed by both sides.

I don’t think that many will leave, I agree we need to keep some experience in the squad, but we we need at least 3 to leave just to bring in a replacement for Kevin, then pretty much one in one out. Walker and Phillips one way or another should be easy. Gundogan is staying, probably Silva too. Grealish could be replaced by MGW, Kovacic if he leaves for a fullback.
Basically what I’m saying is ,to make room to replace Kevin ,Kevin needs to leave.
I think Silva and/or Gundogan are more likely to leave, than Kovacic. Just my gut feeling.

Has it been 'confirmed' though? By the club, in particular. I may have missed it.

Look back over Peps interviews he specifically gave the reasons why no contract has been offered and in fact got quite annoyed when asked again the week after telling the press " I've already explained the reasons "
I see what you mean. Fair enough.

All the more confident in their decision then.

Individually I’m happy for all of them to stay. The problem is when they’re all playing in the same team and all having a slow day, we end up with the first half of this season.

Silva, Gundo, Kova, Kev, we can “carry” any of them as they have something to offer but we can’t carry all of them at the same time, not all season anyway.

My question is when Kev goes this summer who will be the replacement? I thought we were getting Wirtz, but we aren’t now. I appreciate KDB isn’t playing as much anymore but without a suitable replacement I can see a mediocre season coming up.

Maybe the new director of football thought about that when they decided not to offer Kev a new contract???

Wow. Writing off next season already? That has to be a record.

It might never happen mate.

What an absolute credit he's been to his profession, our club and in life.I've seen enough glimpses since he came back to offer him another 12 months. If he plays a certain amount of games next season then another 12 months.

I've just watched this

And there's still fans who think he's past it. He's worth keeping for his football brain alone. Big mistake from City letting him go especially when we still have the likes of Gundogan and Grealish sitting on the bench. It really saddens me to see him go.

Unbelievable player. Unbelievable vision and technical quality. So lucky to have had him at our club. So So lucky.
Been an absolute joy to watch him tear defences apart, providing assists for others and scoring wonder goals.
Pivotal to our success in the time he's been here but in a short short time, he will be gone, no longer in sky blue.

This one hurts me more than Vincent, Sergio, David and Yaya. All top top players but KDB was just better....just!

Some want him to stay. Some want him to go....... [like me Gulp!]

Those that want him gone comment on his injury record, his age and in particular his decline from peak KDB
They are maybe, in general, baselining current KDB versus peak KDB. Whilst those that want him an extension
I think genuinely accept the decline, however, they are moreso baselining current KDB versus range of retained
squad players for 25/26 and whilst agreeing KDB no longer truly world class, will see number of other not world
class players retained, [on less wages maybe], who they feel couldn't be relied upon to provide that creativity....

In reality, he's supposedly not been offered a contract, so he will be gone.

Txiki replacement Hugo Viano will have to pull a rabbit or rabbits out of the hat this summer. With KDB gone
and Foden 24/25, a shadow of Foden 23/24 and no certainty of him reaching those heights in 25/26 we will
need some top drawer midfield creativity, quality and drive introduced. We will have Rodri and Bobb returning
which in reality will be like two new signings but will need much more to realistically challenge for the title.
