We had a central defensive crisis in Rodri’s first season meaning Dinho dropped into CB a lot, increasing Rodri’s game time

You can tell why we need to sell KDB, Bernardo and Gundogan. Nothing against them but look how akanji and Foden start again despite us winning games, keeping a clean sheet. They will start regardless. It’s not fair to others.

Nunes should’ve started with McAtee being on the right. Now our right side is going to be dead on the offensive

I had Nunes, doku and marmoush in for Lewis, foden and mcatee. Not going to argue at 3 academy players getting the nod instead though, many on here are desperate to see a full team of academy graduates.

Very true good point.

Normally our team with the way it's set up a holding midfielder is essential, We only have one fully fit holding midfielder which is Nico Gonzalez and he can't get a game.

It could be down to Kovavic and Bernie playing really well in a double pivot and Pep not wanting to go away from it.
