Why don't you just go mate
I will be there in 10 years when they've both gone, don't worry about me mate.
Why don't you just go mate
Again arrogance to think any other, how dare they defend with 11 behind the ball.Saints started the game with 1 point and that's all they needed to not be the joint-worst team in PL history...
Not rocket-science to expect them to want to sit on it, really?
Weird comments, did he genuinely think they would have a go?
Weird and very worrying if he did.
For me today the biggest problem was the lack of effort and urgency from the players.
It was all too comfortable.
Pep isn’t entirely blameless, Marmoush should’ve come on earlier for instance, but those players on the pitch have to do better.
Pep’s also got one eye on the final, even though he says we haven’t.
Rightly he should be able to change personnel against Southfuckinghampton.
It’s shit and boring cos everything we do recently is slow as fuck.
Fresh players needed and then we’ll see if we need fresh ideas.
A couple of players off the pace is acceptable, but 90% of them, you do wonder what is going on.I think it's Pep, not the players.
Strange choice to drop Nunes and play no wingers, Nunes at least gives width, pace and creates chances.
Cravat.Tie?
For me Omar walks into this team. Whether Pep thinks so is another matter.
In fact I reckon Marmoush gets in every team in the PL
Dominated what?Dominated but lacked the extra bit in breaking them down. A little unlucky with Marmoush and couple of lucky breaks for Southampton with the own goals no going in. Still in our own hands.
After the utter disaster in the final last year I absolutely hope he’s got an eye on Palace!
And Forest were only the width of a crossbar and the post from knocking us out of the Cup and Wolves were the same from taking points off us at the Etihad. We didn't get the luck today you could argue, but then again, we've had more than our fair share recently. We were literally the width of the crossbar away from a win and if Haaland had squared the pass for O'Reilly properly then it would have been a tap-in. Criticise Pep when we don't have the chances or look shaky in defence, but not when we've come inches from winning it but have lacked the quality to get it over the line.
I do think he should have gone at the end of last season, a treble then 4 in a row, it's never going to be the same. He's done mate. He lost the plot months ago when his missus finally got sick of him.
He's become a liability, having stayed here two seasons too long imo.
Marmoush is decent, but wouldn't have got near the team the last few years.nothing,zero.ziltch,panic buys, club knew they had fuked up big time last summer and had to be seen to be doing summert

I like him on the left if we have a full back providing width. If not then yes just behind Haaland. No Kev.He should start alongside Haaland… with a winger, not ‘as’ a winger.
Alvarez wanted to play every week and we replaced him with Marmoush. Granted it wasn't immediately but life's not perfect and sometimes you have to wait.Selling Alvarez and not replacing him was the work of a club that was arrogant in the extreme.
What chances? Our general team play and build up was good. All the possession, zippy passes, totally dominating the tempo of the game, Ederson basically having nothing to do all match. You can’t ask more than that.
Where we failed today was up front. Sorry to say it but Haaland was shite. A more on form striker including Haaland at his sharpest would have buried several of those chances.
If we played our false 9 shape up front i reckon we’ve have won that game.
Haaland is obviously a brilliant player but i do worry that he’s just not quite what we need. He’s nowhere near as hand-in-glove as Aguero was.
Rashford also hit the post for Villa so yes we have had lady luck on our side recently. And Forest were only the width of a crossbar and the post from knocking us out of the Cup and Wolves were the same from taking points off us at the Etihad.
