See post I did about 30 minutes ago. I reckon Dips gift Arse a draw ( all fixed between 2 cheeks of Red Arse cartel), Dips don't lose at Klanfield and a point puts Arse that bit further away from Newcastle.

We need them to lose today then beat Newcastle next week.

As long as Liverpool beat Arsenal today then any result is fine.

We'll be above 1 of them as long as we beat Bournemouth.

Newcastle-Everton and Southampton-Arsenal both look like easy wins on the last day.

So I'd rather Newcastle won and we go above Arsenal.

I've just said to a couple of others, if Liverpool beat Arsenal today then any result in the Arsenal-Newcastle game is fine. Both have fixtures they'd expect to win on the last day.

So it's a case of who do you want to finish ahead of.

We still have to do our job which isn't guaranteed.

I lost a 'bet' with my non footy supporting hub ( he likes non league). Says to me midweek Pep always changing his line up, I say same back 4 for about the last 5 games, so settled.

He hears me effing/ jeffing at 2pm yesterday and says Peps changed that line up hasn't he?

I go yep and we ain't winning with the team he's put out....

And by the end I was so annoyed. Line up wrong, not arsed players and lack of respect for the away support who made far more of an effort than the onfield team.

Chelsea play Forest on the final day mate, so both can’t finish on 69 or 70.

Chelsea will finish on 69 points if they win their last two games and the best Forrest can finish on should this be the case is 67 points a draw and the best Forrest can finish on is 68 points apologies if I left it to you to interpret differently.

Not necessarily it depends on other results.

Villa could finish on 69 , Chelsea 69 ( if the y lose today ) , Forrest on 70 ( 67 or 68 depending on the Chelsea result result ).

Newcastle could finish of 72 points i they win today and win their reaming tow games.

From our point of view 2 wins is naturally what we are striving for if win finish on 69 points it will be enough if Chelsea lose today as Villa can't make up the goal difference. 68 points is really squeaky bum time unless Forrest or Villa slip up in one of their next two games

Beating Bournemouth ensures we finish above 1 of Chelsea or Forest.

Probably would still need a point at Fulham.
