Palace playing well and looking a well organised team.

We on the other hand look like a bunch of strangers and don’t have a clue what our best side is.

I can't see much past a Palace win tbf..pace wins at wembley..but also experience counts. If we had Rodri that experience would see us over the line..without..were headless and so exposed v pace..wembeley with its wide pitch will be a real challenge v pacey forwards.. i hop we counter with Doku starting ..may need a quick start just to push them deeper for first 20 or so

Forest had plenty of pace and we won, if we play anywhere near our best we win, regardless of the pace Palace have

The issue here is that the Bournmouth game a few days later is way more important than the FA cup final now after we shot ourselves in the foot this weekend.

Id go with the same team as TH picked:

Though with this set up you could argue Khusonov for Akanji as doku or Marmoish whoever is on his side can provide width

You could also argue Foden instead of KDB - both have been equally as bad recently but Foden has more of a future

The simple fact that we've all been watching the same rinse and repeat 'tippy tippy nonsense from left to right' for more or less the whole season, I think it's safe to conclude that the players are following Pep's instructions to the letter.

We've ended up with a motley bunch of players, due largely to poor succession planning and a tired senior squad. The biggest problem however, seems to be the bloke on the sidelines

I don't agree. There was a moment in the 2nd half yesterday when Haaland flicked a pass onto Kdb and we were away. It didn't result in a goal but shows me the players can do it. Pep is the most successful manager this club has ever had, maybe the best in premier league history. Yes this season hasn't been as good as others but we won't win everything every year. We may win a trophy and with luck will come 2nd. We lost the world's best player & had a ton of injuries but may still end the season respectfully. Haaland signing a 9 year deal shows me he trusts Pep & the club. Others are entitled to.an opinion but to suggest Pep needs to go is comical.

I recall their manager said something after the 5-2 win recently that if we meet again in the cup final he will make sure we wont be able to do it again at least not in this way.

was a strange game as Palace started much better, more aggressive, more intent and also were 2-0 up at the Etihad but then KDB had a rare great game and his energy brought us back and woke the team up. but that first 30 mins is something we cannot do again that they start the final stronger with more intent.

we had so many games where we are shit in first half and only get going 2nd half. Soton game was just like this too.

hope Pep and staff making notes of that recent Palace game and also the cup final from last season vs rags which was brutal how we fucked up.

3x FA finals in a row, we cannot lose two of it vs sides so much below us in league. but Palace wont come out to assists us to a trophy. they never won any trophy so for their club its one of the biggest game ever. I think they lost an FA final few years back was it the rags or Arse maybe that beat them, but this could be their first domestic cup trophy ever. they will be buzzing and underdog mentality can help them too. we really cannot give them a full first half advantage by not turning up from minute one

if we fuck it up a I bet mood will be brutal shit going into a crucial Bournemouth game who will just have 10 days off now and will be raring to press us all game.

an FA trophy and 3-4th place and CL qualification save the season or some of it. last thing I want to here Pep after the game we lose in final and saying how great this Palace side are and their manager incredible. raise your game now, we have 3 games left.
