Could we get 2nd place?

The Scousers throwing the game against Chelsea hasn't helped.

But we should be OK as some of our rivals have to play each other.

1 win and a draw against Southampton and Bournemouth should do it.

Then we can relax and make Fulham away about Kev.
 
If we win all remaining games I think we will do. Arsenal have a tough enough run on paper. Would not have said that a few months ago I must say
 
Nope, this was the weekend which we NEEDED to win, as our rivals were all facing each other. It was a golden opportunity and we fucked it.
 
We probably won’t, but Arsenal might not either.

It’s a shame Liverpool didn’t get a winner today because I’d have loved to have finished above Arsenal (us 3rd, them 4th), but their GD means they’ll probably finish above us.
 
I think we lost the chance by not beating Southampton unfortunately. Only one of Newcastle and arsenal can get 6 points.

The only way we do it now is if Arsenal don't with either game, Newcastle don't win both, and we do. Not impossible, but I'm not banking on it.

As for the race for champions league, just beat Bournemouth that that should see us very close but it's going to likely go down to the final day. Fail to beat Bournemouth and we're really in for a day of dropping an Imodium with our pints. Again, only one of Chelsea and Forest can pick up maximum points, it's Villa that are probably the biggest threat given they only have to play both of the bottom feeder cup finalists.

I don't think scousers threw it.. if you look at them they get through just in most games but dont win that many against top sides..us they beat of course...but drew v Arsenal twice ..lost to Chelsea etc..they are the most average champions
 
I'm a grand believer of 38 game seasons producing the correct winners, relegation etc, so i think any notion that Liverpool are unchallenged winners of a fairly weak league (true) should be coupled with City being a terrible 2nd place, if we make it. Which i don't think we will. Just getting in the top 5 is fine, given we've been largely underwhelming.

No, watching that shit show yesterday. Lots of happy clappers on here and those that don’t go will moan but we need a wake up. Players and management don’t give a shit.

They got outplayed by United at Anfield although we can’t really talk
 
Beat Bournemouth on the Tues and we sorted.that simple but knowing City from the old days prepare to suffer haha first
