Players who might improve us

Love it ! all in pounds btw:
Ait Nouri - 40 mil
Vanderson - 30 mil
Baleba - 100 mil or T.Reinjders - 70 mil
Cherki - 30 mil
Chevalier- 35 mil
= 235 or 205 mil
We will obviously make some money with the outgoings
We will still have enough money for Rodygo
Rodrygo - 85 mil
320 mil in total.

Then next summer see if Bah/Reis are ready for the step up.
who is leaving?

right now the 100% are Walker and KdB, that is 5 mil for Walker

uncertainty is with Bernardo, Grealish, Kovacic, Nunes, Stones, Ake, Mcatee and both Gks

He looks really good? Dare i say has a David Silva style?

He does look very good, the ability to keep the ball with multiple people trying to tackle is very Dave. I'd argue this lad is better than Gibbs-White(who i do rate) or at least a higher ceiling seeing as he's only 20 and probably about half the price. Statistically they are VERY similar just Paz is far superior at carrying the ball

Haven't seen him play but if he's that good wouldn't Real Madrid just activate their buyback option?

He wants to stay at como for another year + 100% game time will help Madrid even more when he comes back
Nico Paz
There a bit of politics going on between Como, Madrid and Leverkeusen.
Alonso going to Madrid and Fabregas looking like he's going from Como to Leverkeusen.

Fabregas wants to bring Perrone with him and also Paz. Madrid will allow Paz to Leverkeusen this if the managerial changes take place.

They also have 50% sell on clause.. he'd fit Alonso's style of 2 10s behind a striker perfectly but also, they have Bellingham and Vini who will play there, then Arda Guler the likely backup. Also does Alonso want Wirtz or is it Bayern 100%?
That's rather what I'm hoping, too. We really ought to be testing the waters, but then what do I know? I wanted that pygmy from Benfica last summer and was told to set my sights higher...

Tbh a bunch of players will deffo leave. Besides Ake idk who else stays here.
Bernardo
Grealish
Gundo (idc about the extension)
Kova if a bid comes
Stones
Nunes if the right amount comes
Ederson
Ortega
There’s always someone nobody expects to leave like idk Doku or something idk. The point is we can’t rebuild without players leaving. Loans, sales it doesn’t matter minimum 4-5 need to bounce

Walker and KdB are the only definite players leaving at this stage.

Even though I would welcome it, I very much doubt Bernardo and/or Gundogan leave this window. I wouldn't be against Stones and Ake leaving as they are both injury prone and we have a surplus at CB.

Grealish will likely go if we (and he) get the right offer. Would be a shame to lose Kovacic as he has been our most consistent player in midfield but again if the right offer comes in, he could go.

I could also see McAtee being sold and a couple of players going out on loan. Nunes might wish to leave after Guardiola's comments but we may possibly decide to keep him as back-up RB.

Not sure about the keepers but they would obviously be replaced if they left. I don't see much of a future for Lewis if we bring in a RB and a couple of new CM players.

Ultimately we need more out than we can bring in as things stand. The problem is that most of those that we need to replace are HG.

You know I've actually had this feeling about Doku for the past couple of weeks. Maybe looking too far into things but his face seems to tell a story, fella doesn't have the same smile he did last year.

Idk about all that I just think of that rumor in Jan that Barca wanted him and the club was thinking about it. I hope they don’t give up on him tho

I agree. But we deffo can’t get rid of Ake we need his homegrown number. It allows us to get 5 players. I can’t see any HG players that are worth it.

Kova has scored alot and been our best midfielder all season but when you realise you could have a Rodri Baleba Reinjders midfield I doubt we’d miss him. I’d give that spot to O Riley for rotation.

Nunes imo has earned his place for next season … yea he has the bozo gene but he’s become a cult hero this season. Scores, assists, fast, always gives his all never complains etc. if we get a good bid i’d sell him if not let him be our Delph/Zinny

I hope the club focuses on outgoing more than incomings. You can’t sign anyone until this wage bill goes down.

Stones and Ake both HG, so it would be which of the 2 you let go. Both have pretty horrific injury records.

Personally I'd let both go. We'd still have Akanji, Dias, Gvardiol, Khusanov, Reis, Doyle and Bah as options, though 2 or 3 of those will most likely be loaned/sold.

I can see walker staying.
Don't think Milan will take him and he may have scratched the itch if playing abroad and want to come back

Doubt he'd get back in our starting 11 based on his form this season for us. I assume he hasn't been a success in Italy if AC Milan don't want him?

Ancelotti reportedly asked the Real Madrid hierarchy to get Walker in the window- yes, I was agape, too- so he may yet find a home somewhere west of the Arabian Peninsula.

Are Nunes and O'Reilly competent as our full backs for next season despite it not being their natural positions? Would be nice to bring the likes of Cambiasso/Livramento in but are we really going to bring in Wirtz, Reijnders, Cambiasso, Livramento in the same window?
