Why’s that?

It's our proper traditional kit and we're the only club to ever wear sky blue shirt, white shorts and navy socks. Both Lazio and Coventry have worn similar kits but never that combination.

Also it looks ace!

It's leaked to be the away shirt.

I used the same seller last year for the Yellow and navy blue (Gillingham Wembley) kit when it was leaked and it was spot on.

If it isn't it's only £17 quid down the drain.

That is extremely smart. Obviously just my weird way of thinking, but sometimes you see a kit and you can see glory all over it. To me that kit has Quadruple written from collar to toe.

Just bring back the 2022/23 home shirt, it'll never be topped.

When you say our traditional kit…. How far are you going back?

Well it's what we wore between 1894 and 1951. So you could definitely say it's our most traditional and consistent kit. Granted, from then onwards we wore sky blue (and occasionally white or even hooped) socks until the late 80s. Since the 00s it's been more inconsistent. It's all there on the Historical Football Kits website:

Lots of people like the sky blue socks, but for me the overall look is softer. A bit too 'nice' maybe?

I'm biased though as I started watching us in the early 90s (David White, Keith Curle etc.) and we were wearing navy socks then. I guess we all prefer the first kit we saw City play in.
