Considering the show sounds like torture, I'd probably opt for Frederic Veseli
Nah not really clickbaity stuff but it's not like they need clickbait, they're premier league legends doing a podcast backed by Sky. They don't need to lower themselves.
Honestly it's a good watch when they get a guest on that isn't affiliated with the clubs the hosts are.
Jill Scott is good. Roy and Ian seem like top lads. Carra and Gary Neville can get too into their own teams which is why it's far better when they get a guest on to focus on.
Would love to see Pep on there!
When your thigh is below your kneesWhat the fuck's The Overlap?
is it not actually 'Stick To Football' you are referring to?
I listen to the odd one when I have no more 'The rest is football' to listen to.
The one with Ruud Gullit was pretty good
Nah, The Overlap
Funny people on here pretending to never have heard of it just because of who hosts it
I've heard of it but as The brain dead Jill Scott is on it, plus spitty and Neville, I've never fully watched it. I did see a clip of it...horrendous tv.Nah, The Overlap
Funny people on here pretending to never have heard of it just because of who hosts it
I’ve never heard of it or even know who presents it or even know what channel it is on.Nah, The Overlap
Funny people on here pretending to never have heard of it just because of who hosts it
They can create a decent atmosphere at times but I've been twice, one a semi final and to even suggest it's the nearest this country is to Argentina or Turkey is ludicrous. Why those two particular countries by the way? Over the past two seasons, I've been to matches at Sampdoria, Inter Milan, 1.FC Koln and even Alemannia Aachen in the 3rd division of Germany and all of them had better atmospheres than Anfield. AC Milan was as good. I've experienced better at Rangers, City, United, Schalke, Dortmund.Yeah I have. It was a good atmosphere. Yeah it's not River Plate but still.
It's alright to admit they can create a good atmosphere. It won't make you any less of a city fan.
Your opinion mate
You obviously know more than footballers who played there. Even rival players say how intimidating the kop is.

I don't think you've actually been to Anfield.
My opinion is based on 60+ years of going to matches all over the UK. Believe me, Anfield ain't anything special atmosphere-wise.
Bear in mind that a very large proportion of current football writers and media pundits were youngsters in the 80s and became Liverpool fans during their heyday.
It's the same for the rags... Most of that 'Theatre of Dreans' publicity shite was made up during their 90s heyday.
We'll no doubt get the same hyperbolic nonsense about Elland Road being a 'fortress' next season.
It's media hype aimed at the thousands of tourists and casual 'lifelong fans' watching on TV, who have never been to big grounds.

I've been there a few times.
Seen clips of that but it turns into them all turning on the City kid, especially the **** from Arsenal.Think people are discussing two different shows, I don't mind the one with Neville, Scott, Keane & Wright where they're sat around the table. Not a fan of the audience one which is usually Carragher & recently Scholes & Rooney.
I’ve tried to make sense of that, but failed. One who has a psychotic break on live TV and starts roundhouse kicking the bunch of utter cunts that populate that shite programme
Me too. No idea what he's on about.I’ve tried to make sense of that, but failed.
What is it you’re trying to say?
