City’s New Kits

I got my one from DH Gate over a month ago, it’s ok but we have had a lot better kits. I paid about £15 for it, certainly won’t buy the official one for around £100 such a rip off.

Don't wear shirts, stopped when I was too old to be an actual footballer, but even as an ultra traditionalist, this one has grown on me. As ever looks miles better than the original badly lit leaked pictures

If you’re over 20 should never wear a replica shirt unless you’re at the game or playing 5 a side game

Yea it had grown on me for some time. Could do without the sash, but then there would be some other feature to clutter it up which might be worse, so take this and be happy I guess.

Think it works on this one without going past the shoulder, but on the CWC red/black sash (according to the leak images) I find it odd the way it stops below the shoulder. When on the girona ones for example, puma have taken it past to look more draped over. Hopefully the actual kit looks better, which is usually the case.

I bought that shirt in Girona last week, love Catalan flag

Yes people will buy or not, but don't get the sudden outrage when it's been that price for a while and we all knew how much they would be. I buy every few years and only wear them at games, about 6 or 7 a year so they last me a few years. My son buys one a year but chooses when all 3 are out.
I agree, and until recently I haven't bought more than the odd one for quite a few years. When I do I wait until the end of the season when they're on sale, or I just buy the casual t-shirts for around £20. I tried a copy one at the start of the season but it was really poor quality, can't remember where it was from (edit: it was from soccer04). I sent it back.

The only good thing I can say is, at least for previous years the quality has been decent. I still have the dayglow yellow striped one from Wembley '99 and it's still perfectly wearable. The current Puma ones don't seem quite as hardwearing though, I've recently bought the current one so I'll have to see how it lasts.

It's totally wrong though that they bring out 3 shirts then change all 3 every single season. Much as I like the new home shirt I'm not paying more than £50 for one, especially given that it will be out of date this time next year.

I really like both the home and the black kit.

Loved the Colin Bell inspired kit a few years back, but this year's 0161 nonsense was horrific.

Quite like the sash and hopefully it means they can go back to a lovely classic blue kit next season!
I think horrific is a bit strong. I liked it enough to buy one, at least after the price had come down a bit. Seems to be plenty of them around given that I now live 50 miles from Manchester.

Not bad,

Should've had Pep pulling out ball 115 on the Bingo though.

And Joe Beasley with Cheeky Monkey on stage.

Like the kit and the sash.

It's all subjective mate. I can't stand it, but others liked it and that's fair enough. I like the new one but plenty won't.
