City’s New Kits

Ordered off DH last season and needed to go up 2 sizes but only went up one. Shirt still looks like new but I don't know which link I bought from.

Are the ones from this site sized correctly mate?
Ordered mine yesterday, and its been posted this morning ...... hope it arrives in time for Saturday.

Anyone watch that playoff game last night? That Coventry kit, that's what we should be aspiring to. A plain shirt; just get rid of the chevrons on the shoulders and arms, and the job's a good 'un. No silly sash (keep them for the away shirts), no daft dialling code on the collar. How difficult can it be? They managed it with the Colin Bell kit, and the 125 limited edition shirt.

Boomer take ;)

Puma have given us a huge contract to make our shirts. They need to have them distinguishable enough each season so that there is enough incentive for people to buy the next one. It's therefore not realistic to have the same looking plain sky blue shirt each and every season.

It's probably also worth noting that the overall reaction to the new sash home shirt on here and online has been very positive.

It's a valid point re varying the shirt from season to season (remember when shirts used to last for two seasons?). Re your last point, though; just because A, B & C like something, it doesn't mean that D also has to like it. Not that my opinion on the shirt will matter, as I'm not in their target demographic. But it's a forum, where opinions are posted.

I must be the only one who didnt mind the vid. It was a bit of fun. Only thing I would say it was a bit dark and couldn't really see the kit properly. oooh and Richards can fuck off out of it.

I feel like Puma have done a really good job of doing a traditional kit every few seasons for the older fans to get, like the 125 anniversary and Bell shirts, and also giving new designs for the people who buy one every year and more out there designs for kids etc. with the second and third kits.

I don’t love Pumas materials and fits as much as Nike’s but I don’t think we’ll ever have a kit supplier that has balanced all parts of their job this well. We get custom kits no other puma team gets, £60m a year so top tier money, a mix of designs to suit everyone and no supply issues.

There’s been the odd dud, like the third kit this year and the font, but it’d be a pretty boring world if there’s no room for taking the odd design gamble on a kit that gets used 5 times a season.
