Sad news,I have just been told that Lancs Blue (Brendan) passed away a few weeks ago.
He posted on here and was involved with Citymancs at one time.
I first met Brendan when we used to travel on the Finglands coaches from Platt Lane in the early seventies and he was a regular home and awayer and many European travels for the 50 years I've known him.
Latterly he has lived in Cleveleys and was a member of the local supporters club, still attending home and away matches.
One of the many unsung heroes of our club.
Condolences to his family and friends.
God bless Bren,see you soon.
Clarky xx

Sorry to hear about that, I live in Blackpool and I knew him but haven't travelled on the coach for many years due to back problems so haven't seen him for a long time. RIP

RIP Lancs Blue.
I'm sure he started going to City games around the same time as I first started going (1966), so I always had an affinity to him. And he was about the same age as me too ( I'm 69 next month), so we shared similar football memories.
Another City fan gone to the Stand With No Name.

Sorry to hear this, RIP Lancs Blue. City forever.

I knew Brendan a bit and didn't realise he was Lancs Blue. I live in in Blackpool but don't go on the OSC coaches. Met him a couple of times on Euro trips. He was ill in Bournemouth for the Cup match and travelled home. Passed away from pneumonia a couple of days later.
We have lost too many Blues recently.
RIP Brendan a sad loss.

You're 69.

"City boys we are here shag your women drink your beer."

It's you isn't it? You're the bloke in the "Anyone know this guy?" thread.

WTF? Gobsmacked to hear this. Although I only knew him through his posts on here, he was attending games until very recently. I’m sure he was at Leyton Orient away in the FA Cup as I posted the rumoured kick-off time on here and he said that if it turned out to be correct - which it did - it would fit in with his plans and he’d be able to go.

RIP Brendan

RIP. Condolences to those that knew him well.

Hopefully he’ll be watching us lift the cup from up above on Saturday.

I've no idea who that guy is, but I am considerably more "rotund" ,than that gentleman is !!
And I also sit in the other end of the stadium from the away fans, ( block 132), so sorry to disappoint you, alas it is not I .
