I know we're supposed to be trying to save him but I think he's gone regardless at the end of May.

If they lose the Europa League Final, he's getting sacked.

If they win the Europa League Final, he should walk, tell the world they're absolutely wank and unsavable but he somehow manage to win them a trophy.

The issue here is it’s ok saying “I want the dross out” but who is going to buy them?
Who is going to buy Hojlund or Zirkzee - and match their wages?
Are those two prepared to leave for another club on a reduced wage? The rags are going to get rinsed on both. They are either going to have to sell very low to enable the buying club to match the wages or sell a little higher and subsidise the wages.
I doubt any other PL team would take either.

Never under-estimate the stupidity of the owners and boards of football clubs.

If you think about the stunning goal against us at home last year, he can definitely play football. His issue is that he only plays when he feels like it, and that doesn’t seem to be very often. Unfortunately you are right, the media will be trying to drive up the price, so expect to see countless clips of that goal. Obviously without the other three scored in the same match.
