Florian Wirtz

If we can guarantee that then I think we have a bigger advantage over the others with our flexmoneymuscles on a transfer fee, the players salary and for good measure the greatest manager in Pep.
2 big games ahead which could decide a lot of issues for next season.

Which anti City journos would they be then that I`m believing ? Put it this way I trust some of them more than I do you.
You`re coming over too much of a cockwomble for me to believe your stories.
He may well be coming, he may well not, but no-one else on here has become an ITK on this subject bar you.Can we have some evidence so far.
He's definitely a fan of red top team take your pick of the 3

Are there any quotes (outside of Germany) that say his family actually met, in person with the Dippers?
Not seen any credible quotes from what I can see it started with SZ Süddeutsche Zeitung who said, see image. It was tweeted today as well so either it’s just late or they returned to England today

So apparently has been twisted by Scouse media to they met with officials from there

From what I’ve seen they have expressed an interest on the back of City who are far more advanced by letting them parties now they would be interested maybe trying to hijack the City deal if we don’t make UCL

Just a thought they won’t meet anyone so publicly without Leverkusen giving permission especially if he is involved

The name of another club is normally introduced in a transfer saga to force the buying club to pay the asking price.

This looks like a forced name dropping as Liverpool name was missing in all reports yesterday. Imho he has chosen Bayern, the stinky bastards don’t want to pay the 150 asking price hence other competitors are apparently being dropped in the mix.

A few weeks ago it was reported that Alonso was at CFA later to be changed to Leverkusen officials
With yesterday’s news that Wirtz parents and maybe Florian himself met with City officials and maybe at the CFA then it seems certain City are leading the race

Awe the transfer season is underway.

This Liverpool/Munich tussle is only the warm up. Until Wirtz does a Delph I’m out -:)

If he don’t want to come just like anyone else then we got to remain professional. Paying £100 mill plus for a player that is not sure is a disaster waiting to happen.

Submit your proposal city and leave it at that. We have a wonderful club to offer with pep in charge.

Either way I’m chilled. City have missed out on a lot of supposed targets and we ended up with Sergio and silva.

Think us and Liverpool are being lead up the garden path tbh. Leverkusen see a big auction on the horizon and they're wanting to squeeze €150m out of Bayern.
I honestly think they don’t want to sell to their biggest rival. Why would they? Player power is strong these days particularly good ones like Wirtz, he will go to wherever he want to go to.

They met them….Jack Gaughan reported it…he is credible
cheers very strange saga tbh i've been wary about getting wirtz just because couldn't see him leaving germany just feel strange all the noise out of germany saying we haven't met them got the impression they may of got the wrong end of the stick and just thought they was meeting city when it was just liverpool

The Germany media seem to be milking this story for all the revenue they can get.

to summarize the days events ….I think we stand at the same place we were yesterday. City and Bayern are the top 2 contenders for Wirtz and we don’t know amymore.

that's fair enough tbh i've seen a lot of liverpool fans getting very giddy but a lot of what you see say they don't expect him to leave germany so we will see it's rather entertaining as well as been confusing

It really doesnt matter

City invited Hazard to attend the derby

Agreed deals with Many players that ended up somewhere else

Social media is not a place of fact. It is a place of gossip and rumour and those producing it get paid for engagement. Clubs employ it for PR purposes: they often create the narrative and apply pressure on deals. It's just like the 'he's a lovely player but we can't talk about him because he is at another club" quotes that we used to get.

Nothing is done until it's announced on the OS. Social media is fun, part of the game, creates interest in quieter parts of the season, but not to be fully trusted.
