I'm encouraged by the fact he's come to the club to have talks. I'd imagine now, like with De Bruyne, we're in pole position because Leverkusen will prefer to do a deal with us than Bayern and we'll be more likely to pay what they want for him. Bayern usually get these deals tied up without a foreign club having a sniff, the fact we have should be seen as a huge positive for our chances.
