They do. The FA cup once upon a time was the biggest cup in the world. Not anymore.
We need to get top 5. If we don’t it’s a disastrous season for us.
I look at it this way mate, the more successful we become the more the club charge us for that success we gain nothing by going balls deep into the world of the cartel.
Might sound strange but I prefer a bad season winning an FA cup than clinging onto a chumps league spot that doesn't guarantee a trophy.
I'm adding a caveat that it's MY opinion and I understand other fans may have a different opinion.

I get that and personally a cup over finishing 5th would be mine too but I just think we have to finish top 5 and get CL. We can still do both. I think Pep will always prioritise CL qualification but we can still beat these whoever we start. This season has been very poor and I’ve never been to Wembley to watch us in a final where I don’t have complete belief that we will win. This one, I’m not so sure. I hope we have one big performance left in us.

All about the desire to want it,we have been used to winning titles this is the complete opposite,and with players going some unsure if they are included in next season’s plans,it makes the last 2 league games the priority..I wouldn’t be surprised if we just fell short,now if we needed to win those 2 for the league that’s a different matter and we’d win them ..
If Forest lose, they will not be bothered about the Chelsea match.Forest to lose and then get something off chelsea

Well, they are definitely demonstrating that!Unfortunately they were both "safe" at the end of Feb.
Because Stamford Bridge is less than half a mile away from five tube stations which are connected to three different Underground lines, and because it's situated in a capital city that knows how to move massive groups of people very quickly. The Etihad is stuck on the edge of a council estate and next to about three tram stations, all of which are on the same bloody line anyway. Metrolinks hold about 10% of your average Underground train and they only turn up once every 15 mins as opposed to there being one coming in every time you turn round in London. If you get out of Stamford Bridge a bit late after a night game you'll still make it home for 11 - if you get stuck at the Etihad after full-time it could be the next day before you're out of the area, unless you're willing to walk a mile back to Piccadilly. The two are not comparable.Have to say Stamford Bridge still packed to the rafters at the final whistle, that's us at the Etihad and everyone is leaving to get home well before 97 mins

Just highlights what a disgraceful performance last week was v Saints. Still pissed off about it.
rags will be on the piss, win or lose, after Wednesday night.Villa's record against the Rags is horrendous and their away record is average.
Forest aren't mugs at home, only lost 4 from 18 and Chavs ain't great away.
I'm banking on Forest winning their next game and putting it up to Chelsea in that last game.

Pressure firmly on us now. That bournemouth game was always a must win but the fulham game likely is now too.
Villa will win their last game, forest and Chelsea game is a toss up but if forest dont win this weekend, they'll be out of it by then anyway and so will likely down tools but if forest can prevent Chelsea from winning we'd only need a single win.

4 points enough as Villa goal difference 15 worse than ours.4 points will be enough unless Chelsea overturn our GD advantage over them which is unlikely as it’s +4 currently and so would be at least +5 with a win in there.

4 points is enough, so only 1 is must win and the other is must not lose.
Ideally winning the Bournemouth game to give us some breathing room on the final day.
I’d be very surprised if we don’t go on to beat Bournemouth now given what’s at stake. Still going to be a nervy last day though.
It's different for the players when you have to win for the league than just a champs league place when I'd expect 3/4 who will be playing Tuesday won't be at city next season!
Anyway I'd take the fa cup and finish 6th it's about trophies for me..
