Crystal Palace (N) | FA Cup Final | Post Match Thread

VAR manufacurated the result the neutrals and red cartel wanted
It wasn't VAR that missed the penalty, it wasn't VAR that kept KDB playing the full 90 when he clearly couldn't, it wasn't VAR that started the game without a DM, it wasn't VAR that made Foden/Haaland/Marmoush useless on the pitch, the list of problems we had in a final were endless. No way City deserved anything from that showing.

What a season.
Well done Palace
Well done incompetent VAR for not sending off Henderson.
Pep has possibly lost it, brings back Haaland last 2 games and we play dogshit in both games
Marmoush is turning out to be a waste of space, 2 good games since he joined?
Did anyone play well?
Questioned the signing of Marmoush at the time...seems a bit pointless as he cant play the support striker...its either wide or main striker..thats it

We have been bad in the last 2 games can't seem to score. Not sure why Haaland didn't take the penalty it's a shitty day but for Palace great for them. It's rare to have new winners in the cups this season and it's good to see. Pep needs to get them going on Tuesday as we could miss out on 5th place too if we don't score goals and go for the kill.

Criminal officiating.

Bit of play acting from Palace but cannot really resent it as we did not do enough to win.

Not confident that we can win our remaining two games and this daft Club World Cup can get in the bin.

Gutted.

Congratulations to Crystal Palace, their 1st ever major trophy, can't begrudge them that.

I actually don't think we were that bad, probably the better side but horrendous finishing cost us again. A better side from previous years probably would have created more chances though.

Now for the big one, VAR. It won't help but PGMOL owe the club a massive apology. As far as I'm concerned VAR should no longer exist after that game. It should have been 70mins against 10 men.
The decision to not send Henderson off has cost us a trophy today.

It's the worst decision in the history of VAR and Jared Gillett should be sacked.
Totally agree how the hell could he still be hon the pitch??? Would be interesting to hear the explanation of the decision

Nothing wrong with the 1st half, just what happens, but that second half to leave the changes so late, criminal, leaving De Bruyne on, terrible decision, bad management of that second half

Yeah well done to Palace, they've created an exciting team (even if in this game they did what they had to do and just hit on the break). It's good to see new clubs and fans get a bit of success.

We were rubbish, marginally less rubbish than at other times this season, but still rubbish. Not going to blame any individuals for it, the whole collective just hasn't been working. Can't wait for the season to be over.
