Fully deserved. Honestly I know we've been alright in the past few weeks, but our overall performance this season has deserved fuck all.

Chuffed for palace - at least it wasn't any of the red shirts. Hopefully the kick up the arse we need and no charity shield should mean additional rest / prep after a busy summer.

Didn’t deserve much from the season although said in the past match thread we created more than enough to score today… but that in itself sums up our season! I’d be more worried about the next two games and not getting champs league

Exactly. With one comes the other. What would have been tragic is if this group of players hadn’t done what they did with the treble, then went on this slump to being dismantled. It did though, and it brought us something nobody ever thought would be done.

This is the byproduct of that. The natural downturn.

And now we rebuild. Cyclical.

I feel OK. I'm not feeling that entitled that we win everything every year. Next year though.... different story.

Absolutely. Having said that, we've now bottled two FA Cup finals in a row. If we'd gone out in the early stages, fair play, but if you get to the final, you should be winning it, especially if you lost the final last year against a team you should be better than.
