Fuckin state of entitled wankers on here.

We've just lost the fa cup.

It happens. We aren't going to win every trophy we are in, you have to accept that unless you are a jonny come lately and all you have known is success.

Before these hangers on we'd won stuff. And don't anyone tell me to shut up because you say it's all about the now.

Wrongo.

You have to accept defeat, you have to accept the good with the bad. Pep has gave us so much joy. Embrace it. Once he's gone it's done.

Not even going to bother arguing with those saying he's done.

The players take the blame for me and I think that'll be proven right next season.

He'll be brutal this summer, can see him telling a lot of players to find a new home.

4 great seasons in the last 5 years, 6 great seasons in 8 years, he'll bring us back to the promised land.
The free pass he gets is extraordinary. It's as if he had no input in buying all these players you consider useless.

We've just played two sides whose combined wages probably don't cover the top 5 earners in our squad.
Other managers are getting far more out of the players at their disposal. Honourable exceptions Ruben and Ange!

I always used to think pep was being modest when he said he couldn’t do this without the players.

Maybe he wasn’t. Maybe it’s the truth m.

Leaving haaland and kdb on both where clearly absolutely shattered was madness.

I’m ready for a fresh start with fresh ideas.

Because we were even worse in 2016/17 and he got a team together to win 100 points the next season.

The fall off from some of the players was absolutely unforeseen, key players in the team just not bothering to show up all season. Players we were absolutely relying on.

We were good today, previous City teams win that game with the chances we had.

I see a brutal summer coming up from Pep and Viana, lots of ins and lots of outs.
To be fair, we already had the core of that centurion team. Aguero, KDB, Silva, Fern, Kompany, Otamendi, Sterling. We have no way near the amount of crucial players now.

I’m sorry but putting it all on the players is just plain misallocation of blame. His lineups and subs make no sense, his fitness management left us with a CB injury crisis in the fall-winter and he insists on forcing out of form or old players into the lineup instead of using all the players available. How did it take until February/March for O’Reilly to break onto the team? How is Echeverri making his debut in an FFA Cup final? Why is a lineup we’ve been getting results with for the past month getting scrapped all of a sudden with a trophy on the line?

Some decisions are Pep's fault, changing some tactics and not picking players in some scenarios and picking them in other scenarios hasn't been helpful at times.

The reason for the drop off though is the level of performances from the players and arguably the recruitment (again could partly blame Pep but I'd blame Txiki too), the latter will be corrected this summer.

De Bruyne, Gundogan, Foden, Bernardo, Walker, Stones, Ake, Akanji, Haaland, Savinho, Doku are all absolutely miles off their performances last season. Some are old, some have lacked hunger this season. Some have gone from key players to absolutely finished, that's not the manager.

Then there is recruitment, Kovacic, Phillips, Nunes, Doku, Savinho have all been way off their predecessors.

Now you have to look through the shit to see who is salvageable. Pep and Viana will do that this summer.

I believe he has some input which is where I won't completely absolve him but I also believe the club have slacked off the past 2 seasons, failing multiple times to bring in first choice targets.

Pep's been in involved in the shit recruitment. Leave it to Hugo.

2nd cup final in a row. Pep admitted last season the players were hungover. It’s unforgivable with the money we’ve spent. I’ll accept defeat when we’ve not spent £200m and only one of those players is a relative regular in the team.

Gvardiol, Rodri, Haaland. They're the 3 to build around.

We would have had that core at the end of last season which is why I said the drop off has been unforseen.

Well I'm no Johnny come lately & I think we've been an absolute shambles this season because of Pep. He can't figure out his best team, he plays people constantly when they play crap for months then the minute they have a few good games he benches them again. He has his favourites who are absolute crap & he refuses to sub them off & plays them every match.

That's not being entitled, that's acknowledging us & Pep being SHITE!

The truth is that he has made some mistakes - so what?
The truth is that the board have made some mistakes - so what?
The truth is that the players have made some mistakes - so what?
That board, those players, and this manager are centurions, treble winners, four-peat winners, fourmidables, record points and record goal scorers. How fickle we can be?

I would never suggest that Pep should be sacked, but I feel that he needs to walk away with his head held extremely high.

The players are stale, the system is stale, teams have adapted to cope with us having the ball all the time and we haven’t come up with any answers.

More worrying is some of the recent decisions. Bringing on Everechi today without a previous minute didn’t make sense, constantly ignoring Grealish doesn’t make sense, not starting our best keeper doesn’t make sense, I really could go on.

Thanks Pep, what you have given us will never be repeated, go and have a much needed break

Can't even be arsed replying to you saying look at the bigger picture.
But please carry on with your shite.

Even with the drop in form and fitness issues, we shouldn’t still be fighting for CL qualification. We’ve dropped so many points this season from winning positions due to either no subs/poor subs or changing tactics to sit back and defend when we weren’t solid enough to handle the pressure.

Yeah that’s just 3, there’s another 8 positions. It will take more than one window

The club possibly as a whole have reached the peak and need a reset.
We've been absolute dogshit this year but could still get champions league.
Isn't that what you new fans want?

Same again Tuesday and same again Sunday

Put a Sunday league manager and the Bournemouth and Fulham bench and they’d have a fair idea how to beat us

It’s what the club ownership and management wants.
