At the start of the second half he got past his man and put in decent crosses. For 5 minutes he was great and the remainder useless.
He has that Cancelo trait of looking miserable and constantly whinging.

Exactly this our wingers are always 2v1/3v1. We don’t have overlapping full-backs or midfielders providing consistent over/underlaps. Mahrez got far better conditions than Doku gets or Savinho.

It's his first season and many players come good second season, although he's gonna have to really step up and pull something out of a hat.

Also sympathetic to the fact we don't have decent out and out full backs in the ilk of the prime years of Walker. This is not helping Doku either and it's no wonder they are endlessly running into brick walls without an overlapping option. It's painful have we spent all this money and not ended up with a proper full back.
