Agreed. No complaints about the performance at all yesterday, when teams play 10 at the back it's always going to be difficult but you win 9 out of 10 of those on that showing.

Have to credit them for the way they defended, yes Henderson should have gone and his "who cares" comment pissed me off - he would have cared very much if he'd gone - but it is what is is and there's a lot on here who need to get over it and move on.

It has no bearing on our chances in the last two games, well other than to show there's enough to be confident we will get the 4 points we need,. We're unbeaten in the last 6 PL matches so we're good enough.

Despite the fact that we haven't lost any of the last 6 in the PL? Get a grip. I know we're all a bit nervous but there's no reason to think we won't pick up the 4 points we may or may not need. Not that I want us to rely on other results, but even a point might be enough yet.
 
I wouldn't be surprised if Haaland was dropped for this, Pep is a pretty unforgiving person and I bet he was spitting feathers inside over the penalty cock up
 
Have to laugh at the level of negativity of so many on here.
Yes, the drop off from years gone by is huge BUT we are still a very effective team in terms of PL results since the shit show before Christmas. Assuming we win on Tuesday, we would (with Aston Villa) be just 1 point behind Liverpool in the 2nd half of the season. We have the best goal difference, the 2nd best defensive record (behind Arsenal) and if we score 3 on Tuesday the best attacking record. Who the fuck would have thought that would happen at the beginning of the year..

Our home league form particularly in terms of results, and often performance, has been good in 2025. However shit we might have been in an away game hasn't really impacted on home results. So, I'm nervous but highly optimistic about Tuesday night.

I remember when he had a go at Haaland on the pitch when he gave up a penalty to give to (I think) Gundo as he was on a hat trick.
Gundo missed and we narrowly won the game.

Yeah, I can’t imaging he would be happy.

Moreover, if he has that little confidence maybe take him out of the firing line.
It’s an important last 2 games and will be hard enough as it is.

Get a grip? Really? We look crap & couldn't beat Southampton. Have you forgot that we went on a run of 1 win in 13 matches & one of the teams that beat us was Bournemouth who we play next?

As if you said get a grip like we're some unstoppable team.

Don’t think that’s right - they are only two points off 8th, which may well get Europe. If Brighton don’t beat LFC Monday night, Bournemouth would go up to 8th with a win against us. It would then be in their hands for the final game.

They’re not beating us though, so relax.

Facts are we didn’t win though? Palaces name is on the cup not ours. Arguably the most important game of the lot lost to an inferior side with no experience of winning a trophy and also surrendered a commanding position for a champions league place to the worst premier league side of the last 20 years.

Performances have been piss poor for weeks - especially against wolves and Everton - but we’ve somehow managed to string a run of results until last weekend.

You keep glossing over like everything’s all fine and rosy though mate, whatever helps you cope with it.
