PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Masters is just the Trump of the PL.
He is the idiot front man stood up to say and do stupid things and deflect attention from the real brains of the organisation who are getting on with the serious business that the cartel needs to do.

& making himself rich no matter how unlawful it appears.

The delays to this are fucking with my head.

I think we've lost the case and they've deliberately delayed the decision so that it has an impact on next season rather than the current one. Either that, or the club has been informed and release of the decision has been delayed pending appeal. I know you will all think I'm crackers for suggesting these things hence the first sentence of this post.

It's simply cruel for us, the followers of the club and to whom it means so much, to be kept in the dark in this way for so long. I find it very hard to get excited about the football itself any more which is very sad.
Feel for you mate and I agree it is ridiculously unfair on us how long this is taking.
However, what’s the worst that can happen?
We’ve been to some dark places following our club before and if it comes to it (which I’m sure it won’t) we’ll still be there following and supporting our club.
It’ll just make the journey back to the top all that more exciting.
Be proud to support our unique wonderful football club. Chin up blue

First part of your post is extremely unlikely

The panel won’t be considering any impact of the decision, it’ll be released to the Pl and to city when it’s been written up

They’ll get it at the same time and neither will get to sit on it knowing the other can announce it

The speculation can also have an element of truth to it too.

My personal opinion that the club and the PL will do a bit of a dance to decide how to announce the outcome, in layman’s terms I think we will be not guilty and that our club will still act like simps instead of telling the PL, Masters and the general football world to fuck off.

You could also look at it the other way round and think that the PL have made complete fools of themselves and the outcome is going to be very bad for them, and possibly some of their members. That being the case, they want to delay the publication of the outcome to avoid disrupting the season.

You should only worry about things you can control and none of us can control this.

Had the PL won, they’d have leaked it to Arsenal. Who in turn, will have shouted it from the roof tops

Well, even if the wait is a pain in the arse, its better for all parties that the decision will drop after the season is finito.

I heard Prof G talking about shit boards on his podcast. In this instance he was talking about HBO but his example made me think of this shit show & how they should have had the experience to stop Masters.

“A board kind of has three jobs.
1. If and when to sell the company.
2.Hiring and firing the CEO. Make sure you have the right guy or gal.
3. You should have some domain expertise on the board such that you can save the CEO from him or herself.”
Instead, we had a non-executive board member actually doing the work on checking the valuation of one of our deals.

It's absolutely right that the board should hold the CEO to account, not reinforce his stupidity or buttress his incompetence. A half-competent board would have told Masters he needed to step down after finding out he'd knowingly acted against legal advice to exclude shareholder loans from APR rules. Clearly the PL board (which is a weak one by the normal standards of corporate governance isn't half-competent.

I thought you were talking about the City Board for a minute ......
You could apply the same criteria to the City board. Who's the domain expert on there? Who are the genuinely independent non-executives? Why isn't the CEO an executive director?

Doesn't really stand up to scrutiny mate.

The PL could want to wait til next season but it's not up to them. Also, why wait when they could impose a massive points deduction now and either relegate us or completely torpedo our European qualification. Giving us a year in Europe and 2 transfer windows with that revenue would make no sense.

If an appeal was launched it would 100% be in the public domain as well.

No news is simply that, no news.

The outcome of this can’t be appealed in the same way that a decision from UEFA can.

Not buying that City have lost , as a lot of people have said there is absolutely no way that would not have been leaked to the media, it's one of, if not the biggest story in world football and the media outlets would be fighting to the death to break the story first. I think there is some mutual negotiation probably happening over HOW the story is broke, we have to earn our living in the premier league and as much as I would like the whole thing Razed to the ground and a dominant KAM stood with his foot on Masters chest while waving his severed arm above his head I don't think it will be that kind of win scenario .
I see a scenario where we are all suddenly friends, bit like sky last night who in that one game seemed to have changed their stance on the way they present Man City to their subscribers,at times I didn't recognise the team I have supported since a kid as described by SLY! Not so much an olive branch offered by them but a fuckin orchard to try and make it go away , let's not talk about it again it's In the past we're all friends, let bygones be bygones that's the sort of "win" I see happening .

If the result was known at this stage by the PL and the PL had any sort of victory, I would bet my house that it would have been leaked before the final. This would have damaged our chances of winning the final, and potentially gaining a top 5 position.

City should have a football board based in M/cr. The main board would look after corporate affairs.

Can’t explain the chances we missed but the Henderson incident is beyond belief Cheating , pure and simple and no I’m not letting it go
