PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Once the season is over I expect a decision to be announced pretty soon. That way it will give both sides time to go through the decision/s and decide what to do next without it affecting this season PL.

I remember the semi final against Real Madrid under Pellegrini and on BT Sports both the Ginger Pig and Wio openly said they wanted Madrid to win…. What other English team has to put up with that. Why would BT want those pair of C@nts as pundits for that game in any case - clearly a very bitter agenda.
I am ok with that

It hurts them even more when we win

Scholes is a lad from round here so he only saying what we would

Question for any of our legal beagles on here. If the result comes out that we are innocent of the bulk of the charges meaning we dont get a points deduction or relegation.... If any newspapers or media in general then use the words "City got away with it" Or that "the PL failed in their job of prosecuting City" etc... Can our club take them to court?
No because it would be an opinion piece probably backed up with a quote by someone with legal qualifications. Literally everyday stories are printed that are probably untrue without consequence. Probably won't get much support in here but one of the most disgusting was the accuasation that Liverpool fans robbed the pockets of their dead fellow supporters, faced no action whatsoever.

It already got decided, the silence is deafening. Seems they've all been told to STFU. Leave everyone wondering if it was a Dallas type dream after all.

Aye, but turn that around. For united game against spurs they have Joe Hart and Kompany as the studio pundits both saying how they would like utd to lose. Iv never seen that. I think that's because they wouldn't allow it.

Well they're being honest, I guess that's something.

But why would the media company decide to choose them for the match? They aren't the only people they have available. It's a distinct choice to go against us.

They've done their job. Was talking to my sons mother in law this week. She's a Reading fan, so pretty sympathetic to our plight. She asked what was happing to our case and would we 'get off'. I said to her that her wording, whilst innocent, was the real reason all this has dragged on, and pointed out her choice of terminology.

She was embarrassed and apologised. I said not to feel too bad as I have a rag mate solicitor who had suspended the principle of innocent until proven guilty, to conform with what he had read in newspapers.

Had some hapless fucker last week explaining that City hadn't done it the "Right" way, I asked him to explain what the right way was.

End of convo, thick **** was on ignore for the rest of the night.

I take a similar approach. Whenever I get the "City will get away with it line", I say "yep, it's like that time you got away with attacking that kid in the park". When they protest that such a thing never happened, I just say, "that's what I heard, so it must be true".

Not a particularly well thought out argument but generally shuts all but the most idiotic up!!

Exactly mate.

Well thought out responses are for serious discussions where people are interested in any information you have, the rag and scouse with their many apostles can fuck off.

they can look at our trophy cabinet from afar.

The Hillsborough one was shocking. It was literally concocted by South Yorkshire police who briefed the local MP who leaked it to a news agency in Sheffield. The lawyers sat down with police officers and got them to rewrite their statements. Even the Chief Constable was involved. And no one was ever held accountable.
