We have some shallow, short term memory plastic melts amongst our own support, and on here, who I hear and read - "Gary's alright" "he's impartial" "I dont mind Gary"..... etc etc. Look at the internal meltdown when he got splashed with beer.

I agree with him! It is a disgrace, and a stain on us too, and we are the ones suffering it.

Where he is wrong though is with his assumptions that a) it is City kicking this into the long grass and b)the presumption that we are guilty and any delay is to soften the punishment.

Sadly the days of impartial pundits are well gone . That said I once wrote to Jimmy Hill about the ridiculous amount of coverage Arsenal got in the early seventies on The Big Match when we lived Darn Suff .. Heck they even had a competition for a song resulting in that embarrassing classic " Good Old Arsenal " .I added a PS " you're beard is crooked " and got a standard template reply which he signed and added PS . My beard is sometimes crooked . One of the old school .
