Florian Wirtz

I don't think we need 4 or 5 players.

We need a creative midfielder and a right back. Maybe a central midfielder too.

With a couple of outgoings we could easily fund that.

We need a left back, right back, 2 midfielders and a winger imo. Might even need a keeper on top of that if Ederson goes.

I don't know how much money we're going to recoup in sales but it's too early in the window to gamble on overpaying.

If somebody came in and offered Alvarez money for Doku or Savinho, then I think we might change our stance on Wirtz financially (he still might not want to come though).

Again the transfer window isn't open yet, a few transfer windows ago we bought Haaland not exactly shabby.

This isn't toy money or a dick waving contest in reality it's embarrassing just how spoiled some of you have gotten, sounds like some of you have come here straight off the Real Madrid forum.
It has nothing to do with being spoilt.

Any club whose targets go from Bellingham to Rice and then to Nunes should have questions about the strategy.

Difference is that we need to completely rebuild the squad this summer. Bad timing.
But when we are supposedly spending a huge fee on MGW its ”the club have a lot of money and have been net spend champions for years, who cares if its twice as much as he is worth its not our money”.

People are underestimating the importance of replacing KDB. We have zero Creativity. A gibbs white or a Trinaco isint going to be remotley enough to replace him
I don't think we can replace him like for like. We need several different options to replace him, both in midfield and out wide.

We'll have to see what City plan in the market. We know we need full backs, we know we need creative midfielders who add goals and assists and ideally we could do with a winger that will goals aswell. That's alot to potentially spend to rebuild this team.

Fair play if Liverpool get Wirtz though. They've gone aggressive in the transfer market and appear to be nailing their targets, probably something we should've done after winning the treble.

Yes it does have everything to do with being spoiled, think of it this way, you know the sum total of fuck all about our transfer strategy or targets.

Once you accept that you'll be able to breathe again.

That isn't what happened...Our third target was Paqueta and we got screwed over by his gambling investigation. We then did our best to try to salvage a doomsday scenario. Folks need to characterize what happened that summer accurately.

Jesus, going around in circles.

We signed Grealish when the squad was perfect which meant overpaying for a player was fine.

The squad is now far from perfect, so we can't overpay for a player, it's that simple.

This is just the financial element, not even considered the fact that he just doesn't want to come.
The irony being if there is £250mil to spend before we shift on players Wirtz, Reijnders, Kerkez would come to about £225mil. Instead it'll be MGW, Reijnders and Livramento for around £175mil

You can't bring up over paying for a 22 year old player who won the Bundeliga player of the season last year when Gibbs White is apparently costing £70mil+

I disagree we are desperate for creativity. We need legs and power in the midfield and Gibbs White and Reijnders have that in abundance.

Apologies. Let me rephrase.

Any club whose targets go from Bellingham to Rice and then to Paqueta should have questions about the strategy
