Why arent we going after Wirtz? It feels like van persie, Hazard, Van dijk, Rice saga. We missed those players. Some didnt want to come here some we didn't pursue enough.
This season we have to add quality over quantity specially when our injury prone players are not moving and we are not able to replace them. Theres no place for new players. I dont think Stones, Gundo, Ake or Akanji will be going.
So we need KDB and Grealish (he is supposidely moving) replacement. Thats it.
And Wirtz is the most specially if we have to weaken liverpool.
I fear it will be a Van persie like signing. After winning the league first time we were after van persie but he choose united and that year he helped united won the league. This time I am fearing the same thing will happen with Wirtz.

It’s not all about that mate as we think we are a level above by not bidding for players when it’s comes to a bidding war even though we could beat anyone if we wanted . Sometimes it would be nice to flex our muscles . It’s akso like this wirtz situation where tbh I think hd hd going Bayern Munich but it he where to go to Liverpool how bad would that look given we have courted him for years.
 
It’s tough because some people don’t want to come to city, so fair play. Liverpool are a top club it can’t be argued. They’re cunts, their players are cunts, manger is turning into a ****, their board, owners, spy’s and lackies, their fans the bunch of them are cunts, and if Wirtz joins them then, you hate to see it but he’ll be a **** too.

For us It’s going to be a turbulent summer this year. Perhaps more than ever before.
If the 115 results aren’t announced, players kept going to rivals, and we do shit in the CWC, I dread to think the state of some of the posters on here.
Hopefully we see some positive movement asap

No guarantees on anyone but when you watch certain players you can see the potential and the limit of it or the potential of where it could get to...

I see for instance Wirtz has way more potential than MGW but I guess only time will tell.

If MGW is our creative outlet next season we are fighting for top 5 again if Foden doesnt get his mojo back as our wingers are not going to be able to step up enough to the next level

Agree completely.

Wirtz may become world class. If we end up with MGW we'll struggle.

I think Pep wanted to go down a different route for creativity and wanted Doku and Savinho to be those outlets - it just hasn't worked out and they will never get more than a handful of assists

Except Erling didn't join as Aguero left. We won the league without a striker.

True but i can only go on the you tube vids i've seen on Wirtz but it looks like he's got more talent in his big toe than Doku and Savinho have got in their whole bodies

Probably, but Gibbs white is a top player, maybe a better fix ? young ,tenacious, leadership qualities,knows the premier inside out.

Very busy, got legs and can play.

Wirtz obviously quality .... Looks a little light weight for the premier league if I'm being picky .

Who knows, every transfer a gamble .
