Highly disrespectful to someone who has been a great player for City.

The same could have been said about Colin Bell back in the day.
No it couldn't. Bell was always the fittest player of all until he got crippled with an horrendous knee injury at the age of 29. Before that, he was as fit as a fiddle throughout his career, and nicknamed Nijinsky because of his astounding stamina. When he came back, crippled, he was still better than most - almost on one leg!

Stones has struggled to be fit for half his time at City. It's a poor comparison to make.

Perfect formula for screwing it up, but my hunch is we won’t

That's Cityitis in you talking. I understand, but we're much more stable now than during that awful period in October/November/December when we were like wet papier maché as soon as we went a goal down. Still annoyed about the Palace match, frankly. We played maybe 80% of the football out there on that pitch. I was in the stadium and that's the match I saw. And we weren't great, not close to our best of even two or three years ago. Pleased for Palace for the obvious reasons, but that's the truth.

We'll get this done.

Marmoush seems to struggle to score away from home, yet he's had little trouble bagging goals at the Etihad.
Thats just one of those things in a small sample size.

If this happens for two years then its something to note.

Kev had the same issue in his first season here, 2015-16.

In home games he scored 11 goals and got 12 assists. In away games he managed 5 goals made just 1 assist (away at Sunderland in the League Cup). He scored one goal away in the league, at Spurs in the 4-1 defeat.

I’m not his agent mate, so I don’t need any luck!

If what you infer is the case he’d be looking at retirement then wouldn’t he? I think such contracts do occur, but it all depends on the motivation of the player imho.
loads of players are on this deal ..its all about the players leverage. If the player is desperate for a contract...particularly injury prone players ...then this is what they sign. Supply and demand!

Looks like the only away pub is the Eight Bells? Where are other blues drinking?
The King's Arms was full of blues last time we went and literally round the corner from the Eight Bells.
That's where we'll be heading tomorrow.

Thanks, very helpful. To be honest Fulham fans are a friendly bunch so may try a few of those. Thanks Blue!

As Pep likes to call it, a final
17th Spurs or 3rd, 4th, 5th, for Manchester City, it doesn't make any sense, Champions League my arse.

European football needs a proper looking at and changes to how you earn your place.
The Champions League next season could see a team from 17th win the bloody thing ? what next, the championship winners getting a place ? league Cup and FA Cup also.

OK, the Fulham game..

Pep and City need a point, but we also don't want to turn up and get fooled into playing out for a draw. We must go out wanting to thump Fulham and win the game early doors and control the game.
Then again - Leicester were looking at relegation with a couple of weeks to go in 2015, Premier League champions the following year. Nobody said that they didn't deserve it.

Liverpool beat Milan in the final in a season when they lost 10 league matches. Obviously not the best team in Europe, then.

That's just football for you, isn't it? I'll be quite happy with a 5th-place back door entry (cue the 'oooer Missus' jokes)
