I agree.

From what I can remember from that end of year interview Khaldoon did, there was a suggestion that if we were cleared then we would swing the hammer of litigation against a number extremely hard.

I was for it back then, but now honestly I’m not sure, might help, but also it may just feed the narrative even more.

Interested to know other blue’s thoughts?

Probably a bad move letting the opposition know that. They will a be more determined to fight it. But also, it may come from a position of weakness.. ..threats just to drag out the process as City may bank on prem not wanting to push the button and press send...due to the impending hammer

If we win, I hope we seek the hardest retribution possible. I want lives ruined and careers wrecked. I want people grovelling at our feet, begging for mercy as we stamp our foot down on their neck, their desperation increasing as they enter into a semi-conscious state of breathlessness.

I've seen what this has done to our fans. It's affected people to varying degrees but for some it has been terrible. I know of people who have been abused by complete strangers in supermarkets and airport departure halls. It's dogged the club for years and years. When the PL acted in completely bad faith by announcing the breaches in February 2023 without first informing the club, they were declaring war. I hope we lay waste to every person we can - from Richard Masters right the way down to the admin staff at the PL. No apologies, no reconciliation, nothing. I want total, unadulterated revenge.

I agree I seen this in Block 116 at Wembley 80% of us were grey haired foc's yet three lads in their twenties continued to stand. It took stewards until 40 mins to get them to sit properly or move.

Our legal experts on here have said in normal situations it would take years for the finding to be realised.

That came across as a promise, not a threat. They would be very aware I suspect, that after the process was finished, we'd be coming for them.

No point going into the past with litigation. But once we are cleared we should lay down a clear marker for the future that we will take the strongest possible action against any media operators who defame our reputation. We have deep enough pockets to devastate most of our media enemies.

What was the PL team doing during their four-year investigation? They have already been found guilty of dragging their feet in the APT case. The PL has done everything they can to slow up the process, presumably because they have weak evidence. The hearing and City ‘s evidence has been a tiny part of the whole process.

For 99% of the time they were waiting on the CAS verdict, the 1% was then rushing into doing something by United/Liverpool/Arsenal other wise they'll ESL.

Tbf, the club did drag things out initially with the arbitration and the commercial court case on jurisdiction, but only because the PL's rules allowed them.

This thing has been nearly two and a half years in the disciplinary process for Christ's sake. People seem to think the PL can accuse anybody of anything and they just have to own up without defending themselves to the full extent of the law.

Maybe the moral of the story is don't start a (quasi)legal process if you want a quick resolution.
