I don't get why he's so divisive. Some people really seem to have it in for him. Others seem to fall over themselves to make excuses for how average he is.

I wish it worked out better. Seems a lovely guy and great for squad morale but, at the end of the day, he is a passenger when it comes to the footballing side of things.

In terms of his performances, this is possibly the worst value for money transfer we've ever done.

But we won everything with him so who gives a fuck.

Don't know if before we spent 100m on him you ask 100 people we going go spend 100m on a player he be shit for 3/4 years apart for 4 months where he contributed to us winning The Treble those 100 would say good deal I'd take it..

Yeah it's abysmal!

He only won an FA Cup, Premier League, Champions League, Super Cup and World Club Cup in a single season with the touch touch cut back bollocks...

He's a right idiot our Pep.
At the end of that season, Grealish was playing levels above anything he ever produced at Villa. So the idea that Pep ‘ruined’ him is a bit weird.

Always liked Jack as a person, he seems a genuinely decent bloke who loves living life to the full. Unfortunately things haven't quite worked out for him at City which is a real shame, nevertheless I'll have fond memories of his time with us and wish him all the best if it is indeed time for him to leave.

Harsh. He had a big input on the treble season. Kalvin Phillips is taking that title.

That was too late

Whether you trust & rely on him, or just gamble on the new generation and see if it pays off.

I was really hoping it was just injury holding him back this season and that we would see him step in and take up the mantle from KDB playing through the middle. He has all the ability to do it but we barely saw it here.

Think it was Wolves away in the treble season where we did, and he drove at them repeatedly and was sensational. The two games against Madrid stand out as well.

I’ve mentioned it a few times but the fun has definitely left our squad the last 12 months or so of which Jack was a central part of. I loved that Walker, Haaland, Stones, Grealish, Bernardo group that the rest of the team seemed to feed off.

Good luck Jack, can see him at Napoli and tearing it up in all ways.

Sad if he doesn’t even make the squad today but it’s time to call it a day this summer.

Seems like a nice bloke and there’s talent in there but he doesn’t have the mentality.

Shame and I wish him luck in the next chapter.

Philips
Bony
Mendy
Mangala
Robinho
Jo

All worse value signings than Grealish.

I. think a mix of what many have said is true

Grealish came with a lot of pressure because of the fee (not his fault), then was put in a role he wasn't familar with as a static wide man with no freedom to just roam and tuck in behind the striker, it took. a few games but after was an integeral part of our best ever season .

Went on a bender after, but returned and started well only to have several stop start appreances with injury but still gave contributions when available.

His house then got robbed while his family were home and he took it hard as he confessed himself.it shook him and since has been very self destructive by all accounts.
Now this season Pep has either had no faith or Grealish has been unfit to play, however the few appearance he has had he has not let us down.

Personally I am more sad that we didn't get to see more of the treble seaon Jack, and I do think both himself amd Pep are to blame for not getting the best out of him

Anyway I will alway say thank you Jack for the contribution he made and where ever he goes I wish him well and a good future

Hope almost 30 year old who still gets called Jacky “Boy” for some reason here does something relevant somewhere and revives whatever is left of his career
