Tbh, and I know I'm more or less alone on this, but I don't think his performances have ever been all that different for us. They weren't incredible during the treble run-in, but they haven't been rubbish since. I don't think he has been doing much different.
But when you're winning matches, winning trophies, then people see the positives. When you're losing, nobody is doing enough.
Also think the way other teams have set up has changed to cope with Haaland, and that's resulted in Pep changing formations quite often to try and improve things. That's ended up seeing his less suited to what we need out wide at times.
I'll always like him once he leaves and hope he gets a decent reception when returning. Overall he's played his part (just try and forget the fee).
