Grealish left out of the CWC squad (pg34)

Madison is a high maintenance dick head, never a Pep/City player.

I do wonder if that's the reason more clubs weren't in for him

Up until he left Leicester, he was second to KDB over two or three seasons in assists and that was in a shit Leicester side . He's been good this season too in a shite spurs team.

You do wonder what he could do in a proper side. I couldn't believe teams weren't fighting to get him considering the numbers he puts up for goals and assists in poor teams and the price he was being sold for. It never made sense to me.

I'd heard the reason Southgate never fancied him for England was his attitude but I've hardly seen anything from him off the pitch, so I've no idea.

Pep lately really knows how to ruin any negotiation leverage when it comes to squad players that he turns his back on (for whatever reason).
We got incredibly lucky with Cancelo that he was convinced Saudi made sense for him.

It will be interesting to see if we can even get something like £25M for Jack.
Why would anyone give us a “fair” price when they see these reports coming out before our season has even completed.

I hope I’m going to be wrong, but this may be another Kalvin situation where we may need to beg someone to take him on loan next season.
Spot on with your comments .

Beware of any Elie athlete posting images of their "extra" training regime, Rashford did it constantly.
Elie athllets just get on with it, it's their way of life.
I do find it strange that on his recent days off Jack would rather go on the piss far away from his new born and Mrs.
You seen to know more about his personal life than the average Joe so I'll bow to your superior knowledge

Not read the full thread but I'm sure we could have got better value for the 100 million plus wages.
It might be a "City tax" but it's a hell of a price for so few goal involvements even if he holds the ball well, chases back and wins free kicks.

I don't think getting a fee for Jack would be a problem. I think there would be plenty of clubs that would take him with a view to letting him play the role he did at Villa. We bought him because he impressed in that role...we just never used him in it ha.

The bigger issue would be his wages , I don't see anyone willing to pony up the money he's getting here. So unless he's willing to take a pay cut just to kick on with his career and play, then we might ending up having to loan him out.

We'd certainly get more than £25m if a club could satisfy him enough to earn less money.

If its true that Grealish has been left out of the squad it maybe has something to do with Grealish's behaviour/demeanour around the changing room at present?

Despite my opinions on Grealish's ability on the pitch its clear that he is a nice person and VERY popular amongst the squad. I do wonder if Pep, knowing its such an important game wants the players completely focussed, serious and in the right frame of mind. Grelish is an infectious character but if he is in a bad place mood wise then maybe Pep wants to keep that away from the squad? Its clear that at least part of the issue for Grealish is off the pitch (whatever that is -his social life, attitude towards training - whatever)

Unless its an injury of course which would be the obvious answer

Huge game today - we need to winto make sure - we cannot rely on any of the other teams slipping up...Villa have an easy game at the swamp - they will batter them. Newcastle should easily overcome Everton as its at their place. Chelsea should beat forest.

Fulham are a decent team and Craven Cottage is a very small tight ground and can be a very difficult place to play. They have ahad a very good season and will want to finish on a high - interestingly it could make for an open game instead of like every other team sitting 10 men behind the ball?

We didnt play him in that role cause the other players we had for that role were far far superior

There are no secrets in the football industry and every club will be more aware of truth than we the general public they wouldn't be acting on rumors and the click-bait media like "we" are
So, nothing Pep does or says makes a blind difference to his value, the biggest factors are we want rid and he's on high wages

There's some weird posters on here that seem to think they know the truth and only the truth on everything that happens, but the players & clubs are in the dark. It's very peculiar behaviour.

Some of them need to look up the difference between opinions and facts, and to stop stating their opinions as fact.
