Best City 11 since the takeover

There’s lots of debate in the transfer forum over how good or not our current squad and how successful or not our recent transfer business has been. It got me thinking about who would be in my city starting 11 since the takeover and how many players from the current squad make it in…

Manager: Pep (doubt this one will be debated)

Fuck me that would be a great team wouldn’t it.

To be honest though there’s only really Gvardiol and Rodri who currently make it in. I’ve included Dias and Bernardo but I’m talking 2-3 seasons back.

Who would be in your starting 11?

Think I’d have peak Sterling in over Sane.

I’d have stones in over Dias

Not sure on Gvardiol at left back either. I don’t really rate him in that position, saying that not a great deal of competition,

Bernado gets in but not on this seasons form.

To get serious responses you need to add who the opposition will be, where is the game being played, what form are the opposition is and what strategy is planned to play them.

Simply put, there is no "best" starting 11

I would say and that’s why stats only give you half the story.

Yeah, i tried to pick peak everyone. I see lots of Aguero and while i personally like him more, year 1 Erling is unmatched. Same with peak Joe Hart. Unreal.

My toughest choice was who to partner Kompany, peak Stones or peak Dias. I think both were better than peak Laporte. But i can see how opinions may differ. Peak Cancelo was easily best LB for me. And the 5 midfielder are unmatched in terms of talent and peak for me. The Statue Legends is how i see them.

Im shocked how few have Dihno on their list. It used to be cause for abuse here if you thought anyone was better than Dihno. :) Time and perspective have changed opinions it seems.
