It's Quiet the £250m return

I’ll stick up for the board here and say that replacing KDB with someone of anywhere near equal ability is absolutely impossible - and from what we’ve heard it sounds like Reijnders could be a great signing.
I really hope he is because he's going to need to be. But looking at his stats, 10 goals and 4 assists in a shit league doesn't really fill me with confidence

Air Nouri
Livramento (maybe)
Reijnders
Gibbs white
Costa ( if Ederson goes)

I’d take that for a summer window rebuild. If Pep needs a position we will do business in January then like we did for Laporte.

I still hope Rodrygo arrives as well mate

My overall point is that we need to make signings that improve our starting 11, not just fill our squad. We've had enough of that over the last few years.

I don't care what anyone says. Replacing KDB & Gundogan with MGW & Reijnders is fucking tragic.

Lets hope Oscar Bobb turns out to be world class that people on here believe otherwise, we'll be lucky to finish top 4 next season
And my point is that the club attempt to do that and, generally get it right.

You have already nailed your colours to the mast.

Do you concede that they will have a better understanding than you or I as to who will improve us?

daresay i'd keep him in the mix over rico as a CM, given the makeup of the possible squad but zero chance and probably overkill a bit

Don't think he'd get game time currently but he's talented enough that a loan could either give him opportunity to flourish in a better team & return or get flipped for profit. Definitely interested to see how he does under better managers than Steve Cooper and Van Nistelrooy

I really don’t think this thread of all threads is the right thread for anyone to be calling out anyone else for alleged dishonesty. Some glass houses are better left stoneless surely?

he practically plays Gundogan's role, not KdB

Of course i concede that they do.

Although, I'd argue, that Haaland aside, they've not made a signing that has improved our starting 11 since the summer of 2017.

I’m not worried about that. Bernardo Silva has, all things considered, been incredible for us, I’d say only one tier below the level required to snag a statue. His output has been awful for a few stretches of his time here, but it doesn’t matter at all because he’s amazing at the important stuff.

Not sure thats entirely true about him wanting to play left side mate.
he and his enterage (I know what the fuck is this bollocks) have said for a while he want to play in his prefered postion on the left and is tired of being made to play on the right

You don't like any of the links though!! Haha

Tbh I've never been moved by him either
I do like the reijnders one....he looks class
Alt -Nouri is very decent going ofrward but Ive never watched him enough to know if he can defend or not

Gvardiol? Dias? Marmoush?
Gvardiol replaced Laporte. I wouldn't necessarily say he's an upgrade.

Dias replaced Kompany. Not an upgrade.

Marmoush was a panic buy in January who looks like he can play so I'll concede that one.

When was the last time we've done what Liverpool have done? Won the league and then made a really statement signing of real top drawer quality? I dont think we ever have
