Players who might improve us

Totally agree and I a fully paid up Mbeumo fan boy but given Peps small squad statements I dont think this is a player / position we will priortise. Hope I am wrong and would certainly prefer him to the likes of the underperforming, overrated Rodrygos of the world.

Shame, he’d suit multiple positions and we drastically need goals out wide.

I like his numbers. Always liked him. Excluding pens he’s still a great finisher. I’d love to have a player so decisive in the final 3rd. A goal scorer from wide. But it can’t happen for a few reasons: Pep wants a smaller squad and we’re too slow. The teams we face, low blocks wouldn’t give him any space to run in behind and even then we don’t look for those runs. Marmoush learned that quickly.

Very much doubt it in our team to be honest. He'd face a lot different challenges that he does at Brentford.

I like him as a player but unless Savinho and/or Doku leave, I just don't think we'll be in for attacking players this window. Other areas are more of a priority.

I think both have tremendous potential and w would be foolish to let either leave.

I like Mbuemo. He's a very talented player but I feel more suited to a counter attacking team where he has the space to run into. Maybe he could adapt as Mahrez did. So far Doku and Savinho haven't really been able to.

Would be an interesting option if Savinho were to leave.
