If you give me a choice between Nunes and Rico I'd take Nunes because he's quicker and physically stronger but I think they are both poor options. I think we will get a right back in the summer.
I do think Rico is better further forward, but I think both are really good options.
Though Kyle was a wonderful defender, we were always limited by his offensive ability, despite our trophies.
If we have a very physical centre-back, I'd rather stick with Rico and Matheus.

Sorry Oldious but it's my opinion and both are not for me.

Do you think he will be right back come the start of next season? Because I'm not so sure.
Not really relevant to the claim we got 3rd despite him when i can only name 2 players that have been better than him.

But yes, i don't see why not. Don't think there's anybody obviously better and attainable. He has the perfect Attributes pep wants. Fast as fuck, willing runner off the ball, doesn't half arse things, tall and strong, technically proficient, all he's missing is better concentration and experience in the role.

if it wasn't for the fact it's Nunes who we bought as a midfielder who many have nailed their flag to the flop mast there wouldn't be any issue. If you saw the same performances from him but he was some relative unknown playing in a different league, they'd be loads of calls to go get him this summer.

What's cambiasso done that's better than what Nunes has shown? Too many just want the shiny new thing when it's not better than what we've got.

Think we need to view him as a utility player now and not a full back or a midfielder. Someone who can come in and do a job albeit not to the same level as a starter. As a utility player he has had a very decent season. Still young ish so time to improve and maybe get more confident. A keep for me. His pace and power is something we need.

Looking forward to seeing him defend against someone who is genuinely talented and quick. He's shown that he has a tendency to dive in and leave himself and us exposed, so the big test is seeing what he's learned from that.
