Jack has got to fight the Demons, Southgate let him down, it hurt not playing for England and since then it's been downhill, Pep is right, it's all down to Jack Now, Buy into Pep's new plans and give him 100% in training and cutting out his lifestyle or leave

Pep can not make it any clearer
He was dropped from England for poor form for City. The business end of 2023/24 saw one start where he was taken off early and one sub appearance.

I’m trying to think back to watching him in his time at Villa. Maybe memory plays tricks. I do recall being really surprised when reading that in his last season at Villa before he joined us he scored a grand total of 7 goals, not sure of how many assists.

Was it a case of the way he looked on the pitch, the way he carried it, the great touches in moments, in flashes, seduced some, and masked the reality that his overall impact wasn’t so great (?)

Yes most footballers are very sensible at parties like pre a cup final for example.

Maybe he should have just put a Groucho Marx disguise on. Last one to leave.

Tuf tut.

I was one of the most vocal on here condemning the drinking of the whole team before the cup final last year. That was before the game had even taken place. Still pisses me off now, especially knowing who we lost to and making that journey down to London with the time/cost involved for myself and others. I've no doubt in my mind we'd have beaten them if they'd delayed the celebrations a week. Personally think KDB's farewell should have been after the Fulham game too, fortunately they picked up the three points yesterday so they got away without too much criticism this time around.

It's not much to ask professional footballers to act...... erm... professionally.

He was Pep's vanity project, Pep dreamed of what the headlines would be like if he turned Jack into a top 5 midfielder, unfortunately dreams most times don't come through

It's OK watching him pissed up on TV on the back of the team bus with his jesus crucifixion pose. I watched it live. It's not your money as you live overseas but it's a small percentage of match going blues money who turn up to see Grealish prancing around on the left touchline fannying about. SC's and match tickets have been rising each season to help pay players salaries. Jack hasn't earned his money and the term 'stealing a living' comes to mind.

As for his solid treble season contribution he scored 5 goals with 7 assists. Plenty of players could have done that. As for this season he's scored 1 goal and 1 assist. That's pathetic and the main reason Pep wants rid of him.
i had a season ticket back in the day for 11 years when the whole squad was ‘stealing a living’ as a collective the last decade has been fantastic value for money for you lucky enough to go more than twice a season

The treble, the domestic quadruple, 100 points, 4 titles in a row. Pep makes dreams come true more than any other football manager on the planet.

I wasn't having a pop at you BTW, pal. I realise lots of blues who can't get to games are as passionate about City as those that can get to games.

Those overseas fans who buy the replica shirts direct from the club and other accessories and subscribe to their relevant sports TV package to enable them to watch games can indeed claim that it is their money ;)

Some fans buy replica shirts direct from the club and subscribe to a relevant sports package. Some fans buy knock off shirts and watch games on a FireStick for next to nothing.

Some fans make YouTube vlogs and waffle on about American covered bridges in a tight fitting Morrisey T-shirt singing gay Smiths songs.

Some blues are bigger than others ; )

I agree with you, I'm just uneasy with a witch hunt on one player.
