Same with Celtic's unofficial title party in Glasgow.I dunno, the Arena bomb wasn't the end of concerts in Manchester.
Think things will just be way tighter security-wise.
Council now getting pissed off with it, but it won't stop, how can it?

I'd imagine they would rather he be a terrorist than to admit there was anything from the crowd contributed to the events that followed. From some of the videos I have seen it appears the driver was carefully driving down a congested road, how he was on the road is another matter. People then started throwing things at the car and it appears that someone managed to open the driver’s door. I can then only assume the driver panicked, possibly fearing for his safety and accelerated into the crowd. In one video all I can hear is one bloke repeatedly shouting ‘fucking kill him’. Terrifyingly it reminded me a little of the two soldiers who accidentally drove into an IRA funeral and were then dragged out of their cars and murdered. Even when the police had surrounded the car and were arresting this guy Liverpool fans were trying to attack him. Fingers crossed that there are no fatalities but there will be a lot of questions that need to be answered. I don’t think it’s as simple as it was someone who has mental health issues or a disgruntled Everton fan.
Put me in mind of that IRA funeral too mate. Not nice.some things you cant forget. From some of the videos I have seen it appears the driver was carefully driving down a congested road, how he was on the road is another matter. The 2 soldiers at the IRA funeral in 1988 was the worse thing I'd witnessed on the BBC news in all my life. From some of the videos I have seen it appears the driver was carefully driving down a congested road, how he was on the road is another matter. I saw the last seconds of that. I think it's Rick Houghton, a local radio DJ, and Liverpool fanSaw that myself seemed to be more bothered about seeing the Police run and the size of Liverpool’s fan base, it was a strange one. Just hope the casualties are minimal.
Bang on budBest wishes to the injured and the people trying to help them.
Everyone trying to ascribe blame for this: wait until you have some facts. Often in major incidents, what seems obvious at the time turns out to be entirely mistaken in the light of day.
I'd imagine they would rather he be a terrorist than to admit there was anything from the crowd contributed to the events that followed.
That's the first thing it reminded me of the IRA funeral.at the moment nobody knows exactly what happened todayFrom some of the videos I have seen it appears the driver was carefully driving down a congested road, how he was on the road is another matter. Liverpool parades are different to the Manchester club ones arent they? like they travel for miles and miles from the outskirts as i recall they did in…..2022 when they won the cups. whereas city and united just pootle around the city centre or to the groundIt’s a good point, not to mention the millions and millions it must cost in security.
Surely better to have a trophy parade in the stadium and make it more of a show.
I don't think your team has to worry about that anytime soon ;) but seriously why let the cunts stop what has been a staple of British football tradition since footy began. It’s a good point, not to mention the millions and millions it must cost in security.

I'm no detective, but from what I've seen, id go with the latter. Looks like he's been surrounded, car attacked, doors opened, shat himself and panicked. Then again, he does swerve towards the crowd later on down the road though, so who knows.I/we shouldn’t speculate, but if it was a terrorist(attack), the car would have kept on going at a much faster speed, not stopping until it crashed, and the doors of the car would have been locked. I’m not saying it was a terrorist attack. As others have said, the driver could have panicked after his car was attacked or got angry? We will find out eventually.
the world doesn't revolve around football. the majority of people don't give two shits about itDidn't know what was going on, ffs!
The whole fucking world knew it was their parade today, and it's happened about 5 hours into it!
Only takes a few pissed nobheads to cause a scene and when a car is in a congested area with crowds nowadays I can understand why things escalated. From some of the videos I have seen it appears the driver was carefully driving down a congested road, how he was on the road is another matter. People don't usually start filming before an incident, so it's likely that something had already triggered the crowd to be angry. Not seen the incident and don't want to tbh but if a car is there and shouldn't be why the need to start hurling abuse, throwing shit and trying to get in the car.
It's a parade you're supposed to be celebrating and in a good mood.
Yes it was horrible that. The 2 soldiers at the IRA funeral in 1988 was the worse thing I'd witnessed on the BBC news in all my life.
Like you today's events took me back
