I'm sure if it was one of your cops Bert, it wouldn't have happened. And you would have bought them all a cake for being professional Police officers. But let's not dwell on Merseyside Police force being a shit Police force, because they are. That is fact. I'll leave it at that.Good grief-you know if it had been one of my cops I’d get them ask them what happened, write a report, and then make sure they bought cakes for the team as a fine…then it would be forgotten.
It still shouldn’t have got through under any circumstances. The road was closed. They opened the barriers for an ambulance to get it, so it could deal with a heart attack victim. The car has tailgated the ambulance.
How wouldn’t it have happened? If someone is off their head on drugs last year at our parade and this exact same thing happened, are you saying it wouldn’t have happened because it’s not the Merseyside police?I'm sure if it was one of your cops Bert, it wouldn't have happened. No, mistakes happen especially when incredibly stressful situations suddenly happen. That’s reality.I'm sure if it was one of your cops Bert, it wouldn't have happened. Whilst having absolutely no idea (obviously) of what drugs he had been taking, I was struck by how cool he seemed when he was filmed out of the car and then getting back in and slamming the door. Not sure when this was in the timeline, but he appeared unruffled at that point and (as you say) had an arrogance about him.No idea what this bloke may or may not have taken but the use of cocaine is widespread in this country-and boy does it turn people into arrogant aggressive cunts.
I was just going to post similar. Lame excuse from the Police. It still shouldn’t have got through under any circumstances.
Possibly-being slightly flippant I first noticed how he was steering with one hand on the bottom of the wheel…always grips my shit thatWhilst having absolutely no idea (obviously) of what drugs he had been taking, I was struck by how cool he seemed when he was filmed out of the car and then getting back in and slamming the door. Interesting because there is at least 1 car in front of the perp'It still shouldn’t have got through under any circumstances.
If the entry point had been properly enforced. How wouldn’t it have happened?
I'm not watching it all again, but could it be the "ambulance", ie Paramedic car that he followed ? It's quite normal for an amulance "car" to respond to a suspected heart attack.Interesting because there is at least 1 car in front of the perp'
So at least 2 cars tailgated the Ambulance.
You’d think by the time you got in your 50s you’d have a bit of oil in your can, driving in area with thousands of people walking about and hundreds of coppers while unfit to drive isn’t the sharpest tool in the box.I’m not much older. I drink either in The Roebuck Alkrington or The Fairway in new moston. It’s rife, even among folk my age. Just openly going into the loo to do a line every hour. Never seen the point in it, although you’d forgive the youngsters because, well, they’re young and dumb.
Think he’s talking about the copper’s helmet getting nicked from an unlocked and unoccupied police car but I could be wrong! How wouldn’t it have happened? If someone is off their head on drugs last year at our parade and this exact same thing happened, are you saying it wouldn’t have happened because it’s not the Merseyside police?
I will reserve judgement on that till the full story comes out.It still shouldn’t have got through under any circumstances.

Have appropriate measures and protocols in place. It’s absolutely standard with events like this. Counter terrorism measures can only be as strong as their weakest link.I will reserve judgement on that till the full story comes out.
If he was immediately up the arse of the ambulance and it was physically impossible to close the barriers before the car got through. Then I am not sure what they could do.
Let's see what comes out in the wash. For all we know, they might have had multiple blockage points on the road and this guy has parked his car up inside them, before they were installed and gone on a 2 day bender.Have appropriate measures and protocols in place. There shouldn’t be any vehicles inside the perimeter before the parade starts several miles away. Any such vehicles should be removed from the area, or destroyed if necessary.Let's see what comes out in the wash.
