He hasn't been charged with murder.
No one knows what drug he had in his system so 'off his tit's on coke' is a crazy statement to make.

I was certainly not trying to defend the driver but just to understand what seemed to have happened?

I think it’s just allowed the conspiracy theorists to connect to each other more easily and then weight of numbers allow extreme opinions to resonate more than they used to, with limited regulation.

It’s also added the need to know everything about breaking news instantly, which bad faith commentators use to feed peoples’ inherent biases and fuel division more.

Probably yeah through social media, I don't see the link here though? All people have done is see the footage that is out there and voiced their opinions on it. Everyone initially was shocked and sickened, everybody is thinking of the victims, the more footage that came out though the situation looked a lot different to some mad lunatic, possibly a terrorist intending to kill people that day. Driver is at fault and fucked 100% No one defended their actions, simply tried to think why they have reacted that way considering the attack to his car. It is then highlighting that smashing windows, trying to open the door and drag the driver out, all before he has hit anybody is mindless. That made the situation escalate, that can be said. It is allowed. The driver being on drugs means from a legal point of view he is done and rightly so.

Everyone's outraged. By which they mean one journalist is pretending to be outraged and trying to make everyone else too. Searched on Google News and the story appears in the following publications: the Hereford Times, the Southend Echo, Liverpool World, and the Cotswold Journal (probably owned by the same company). So clearly huge news.
 
Also, I 'assume' being off your tits then being surrounded by a mob smashing your window...i cab't imagine that his next actions will be the best! That said, he's a prick if he got behind the wheel high...on whatever, including prescribed drugs - Chemists tell you this sh*t straight away if you have been given something that will affect driving

Liverpool City Region has a population of 1.59 million people according to ONS statistics compiled in 2023. So they are claiming that Everton, Tranmere and anyone who doesn’t actually have any interest in football was at this event? A lot of empty houses for them to go rob if this is the case though.

having never indulged myself in the use of illegal narcotics, I can only assume that the bloke who knocks out the little bags of gear in my local offers the same advice to his customers?

The point I was making was it is strange for someone to continually use their car horn if they are trying to kill people. The horn is a warning device.

It's undisputed people were attacking the vehicle trying to smash it's windows.

The court's will apportion blame in due course.
