Florian Wirtz

Well, we need to worry because he is absolutely quality. They are also adding frimpong and kerkez with others possibly to follow which is great business for a team that were miles ahead of us this season.
They can't handle expensive buys, nunez, keita and now szobo all failed to live up to their price tag. The pressure will be too much.

Can you link these "super reliable sources", bud...
Well, it's so easy to look it up, but you are not going to get a more reliable source ornstein(england), fabrizio Romano (international) and the most reliable Germany reporter florian plettenberg. If you think these sources are not super reliable, then do provide me with the reporters that you think is more reliable. Don't make me do this dude, I'm already hating the fact he is joining them.

So the answer is no...

Romano and Ornstein are probably the two most reliable football journalists in the world. Both have said he's in negotiations with Liverpool only. Whether you choose to believe them is up to you.

I personally think this is as dead as a dodo.
For us maybe, but why would Sky report that he hasn't even decided whether to leave Germany if he's "in negotiations"? It's not like SKy don't see the same tweets as everyone else. I don't think he's leaving Germany full stop but given the reported fees, I'm happy to take a pass and spend it on a better quality squad.

Reactions: Bez
talk to leverkusen that we give discount on McAtee, Ortega and promising youngster on loan is also possible as long as they fucking hold dippers to ransom of 140m fee upfront for Wirtz.

That same sky who reported that he didn't even meet liverpool and Liverpool were never in conversation. Yeah, very reliable.

They were miles ahead of us largely because of our injuries. Had Rodri stayed for along with our back line it would have been a much closer contest. Just look at the Arsenal home game before and after Rodri's exit. We were all over them the first 20 minutes

According to Christian Falk (yes, i know), Wirtz turned us down because Guardiola wouldn't confirm whether he'd still be with us beyond his current contract

To be fair nobody's 100m+ transfers have succeeded. Coutinho, Fernandez, Grealish, Caicedo, Neymar, Mbappe, Felix, Rice - all average at best and many not worth half what was paid

They want Wirtz, Frimpong, Kerkez, Ektike and a top CB mate
We want Cherki(Monster of a chance creator), Ait-Nouri(one of the best technical gifted LB in all top 5 leagues and the EPL), Livramento(or whoever we get) — Reijnders(Serie A's midfielder of the Year), and Garcia or Costsa and maybe Rodrygo according to your list, which I doubt it happens.

This season’s Manchester City has been the weakest we've seen in a while: riddled with injuries, Pep dealing with personal issues, Rodri missing an entire season, and our core centre-backs injured all at once at some point. And yet, despite all that, we still managed more wins than any team not named Liverpool.

I’m not scoffing at Liverpool or the players they’re targeting — but let’s be clear: we’re not messing around either. We’ll be there. Always.
