It's Quiet the £250m return

Not just united finances, the best players want the prosepect of CL in the next couple of years. They can’t provide money nor immediate prospects, and and are buying in a different market. There are many more attractive destinations in the PL than united currently.
There's a lot of truth in that.
Anyway, fuck 'em.
Apologies again to everyone for going off topic.

I was shocked, I know it's a ITK but 85 million is abit steep. But apparently its because they don't need to sell and Marinakis is as bad as De Laurentis

Only two years left on his deal, Marinakis needs to sell if MGW says he's not renewing, otherwise he's getting an unhappy player and £40m less next year.

Wolves are on a sizeable sell-on, so understand why Forest are trying to leak supposed valuations like they are.

They bought him for £25m + £17m in add ons, which I am guessing considering he is at a club like Forest he will have met those obligations as I can't see Champions League qualification being one of the add on requirements.

Add in Wolves including a 10% sell on clause, even if they were to sell him for £60m, they will only be making £14m on him. £60m itself is too much for him.

No player who has never played in Europe and only just broke into the national team at 25 years old should be going for more than £50m.

I think he is an good player, still has to prove himself like, but his value is circa £45m-£50m and I would imagine City will be looking at around those figures themselves.

£60+m and I think we walk away.

Sorry to be going off topic but a fella would be thinking if our dear friends from Trafford apparently aren't even inquiring about Costa... (with Onana reportedly getting the road + Amorim having just come from the same league as Costa)... ieither City's people are grossly overestimating Costa's abilities or it could be a sign that United's financial troubles are definitely hampering their rebuilding.
utd will do what we all did as kids and make the fat lad go in goal

Luke Shaw is the new rag keeper, you heard it here first.
