Drunk man denied boarding on Easyjet flight at Manchester Airport

That knob is hilarious, a proper wanker, would love to have seen someone spark the ****.
But I can imagine that most people in that queue would be disturbed by his behaviour and felt threatened. It's them I feel sorry for. The start of their holiday would have been tainted by this twat.
He should have his passport taken off him.
The general public shouldn't have to put up with this coke head mess.

They should have let him on. Let the plane take off. And once it got to cruising height (25k feet?), open the door and kick him out. Job sorted.
True story.
I was once on a plane when it kicked off between a pissed up dickhead and a member of the cabin crew.
The crew guy had quite rightly refused to serve him another drink.
The dickheads response, and I kid you not, was to offer him outside. At 30000 feet.
This is what we're dealing with here.

I was on a plane behind a scouser kicking off because they had to spray mosquito repellent, the prick was on about conspiracy theories saying I want to speak to the captain your not spraying that etc, anyway the lead cabin crew lady came up and her exact words were it’s a legal requirement I’m spraying it your more than welcome to get off the plane if you don’t like it he shoved his AirPods in and shut up like a naughty school kid who had been told off

Why can’t they just start banning these cunts for life? Then us grown ups can have a pint to relax without people demanding they stop serving booze. Interesting how he gives it the biggun but never retaliates to the one who actually gives him some
I love a pint or two before getting on the plane, no matter what time it is. It's a bit of a ritual and helps me snooze through the borefest of flying.
Like you said, grownups.
This fucker isn't even out of short pants.

He acted like an idiot but releasing it so long after the even is a bit vindictive.

I was unfortunate enough to be sat next to 2 very drunk russians on a 6 hour flight to Oman (we were going to Sri Lanka) a few years ago.

The staff initially refused them any more drink, but because of the abuse they were getting, eventually continued to sell them drink, despite our protests. They soiled (puked), and then destroyed the seats, they abused everyone around them, we moved away from them when we could, but there weren't any empty seats and they continued to abuse the staff, despite the fact they still served them. I felt so sorry for the staff who had to deal with it, they tried, but it threatened to get violent several times.

Worst flight I've ever been on anywhere.

Based on the safety of his crew and the other passengers, the captain would have been well within his rights to take affirmative action, declared an emergency and diverted the aircraft to the nearest available airfield. Hopefully he radioed ahead and had the authorities meet them at the gate in Oman.

Of course, but I don't think the cabin staff reported it, also flying to Oman there weren't (at the time) many places to divert safely to.

As far as I know they weren't confronted at the gate either, needless to say it didn't improve my (already bad) impression of russian people.

The cabin crew are an integral part of the aircraft safety team. If they are reluctant to raise their concerns about dangerously disruptive passengers to the aircraft captain, then that's more of a safety culture problem at the airline. You have to consider what else they are not reporting.

I certainly wouldn't be flying with them again.

I won't be.

All the cabin staff were quite young, and there was only one man, and the 2 russians were big and quite nasty people, so I understood their reluctance to get too involved.

They may well have involved the captain, and he just advised them to do their best in the circumstances.

It must be quite a tricky job when you have people like that, especially in a very confined space, it's not like you can call the police, and (at that time) you're not diverting the plane to Iraq/Iran.

I've seen drunk and disorderly people on flights many times, but these were the worst I've ever seen, and I wouldn't have wanted to confront them head on, arseholes basically.

The gate staff need reprimanding for letting him walk towards the plane and the only way to deal with these knobs going forward is to impose a 10 year ban across all airlines and surrender of passports.
