He’ll end up being one of the best in the league.

I know most of them won’t make it, but I find it disappointing seeing so many of these young players not playing for us.

Other than foden, who was always going to make it, our record in developing young players has been pretty terrible.

The pattern seems to be they show flashes of brilliance for us, then have a dip in form (as all youngsters do) and then they go on loan and inevitably sold. We really struggle to actually develop young players into the finished article

He hasn’t really got much to beat given the lack of top class strikers about. Decent player but could still go either way. Waste of his time him being at City with Haaland about

That one on one from the half way line was absolutely appalling for a Premier League striker.

Another one bites the dust. Can’t say I’m surprised. I knew this kid was going to make when he scored on his debut for us. Like Palmer I wish him the best. Fun fact. Chelsea could get THREE of our academy graduates if they convince O Riley.

It’s not sour grapes - I hope he does well
I think he is a decent forward.
But I wouldn’t be desperate to sign him and wouldn’t see any ‘top’ team doing so.
i think he would be better off at Everton or West Ham

Apologies, I meant being an important player (or a starter) for a big club.

I wasn't taking a shot at City, but there's a huge difference between playing limited mins off the bench and being an important first team player.
