A lot of people on here will know Shez, whether that be from Baguley & Brooklands OSC, a Euro away, the Chicken Hut or Wythenshawe in general.

This is now out in the public domain, so I'm not going to beat around the bush. Shez is not going to make it to the start of next season. The Big C has called time and he hasn't got long. This bastard of a disease is going to take another Blue too early.

There's a gofundme page been set up to look after his family and I urge everyone to make a donation, however small. I haven't a scooby how to post a link, so just search for his name and you'll find it. Over £4k has been raised in a few hours, which is simply staggering.

Devastating news. I was well aware a few months ago that Shez wasn’t well but then things went quiet on the socials for a bit so I wrongly assumed that he was in recovery.

The bloke is an absolute legend and I could spend all day and night on here relaying some cracking stories about him and some pretty bizarre ones too! (bizarre in a funny way, not a bad way)

I know what you mean mate, we've all got a "bizarre" story about Shez. Belgrade springs straight to mind, but not for an open forum ;)
 
I saw him this afternoon 5 til 6. Only spoke for 1 minute because he was sleeping. He had eaten a massive kebab today and polished it off ! First food in couple of days. He has had 4/5 jobs at the same time to pay for City. Before and after his postie shift. One job was pany’s takeaway sale moor delivery driver. The owner heard today and brought shez in a kebab.

A hero of mine standing on the old kippax with him and many a trip on the levenshulme blues bus back in the day with billy black robbo Geoff and all the other amazing Blues.

He knows all the blues are behind him.
