We have to be ruthless.

Watching that young PSG side, we need to bet on the mega talents, especially at this price.

Ait Nouri and Reijnders as well then the squad looks loads better.

If there is some issue with squad size then the club will have to be ruthless in offloading unwanted players, even if its just a loan.

Cut hard and cut deep!

Marmoush, Khusanov, Bobb, Echemessi, Gvardiol, Phil, Erling, Rodri, Gonzo should be the core of next season's squad. With additions of Cherki, Reijnders, Ait Nouri, Livramento to bolster that core. Dias and Ake should serve as part of the leadership core and Doku and Savio as squad members. Then you keep or cut the rest based on who you've got and what you need.

Thank you :) 100% French here, never even lived abroad. I'm trying my best when it comes to English, I know that I make mistakes but as long as I'm able to get understood, it's fine.

Ben Arfa is probably the biggest talent ever from the academy. People who know both rate him even higher than Cherki. But poor old Hatem had several other issues which prevented him from being a true superstar.

Cherki showed this season that he is more a Benzema than a Ben Arfa which is very news for the sake of the game itself. There aren't so many artists nowadays. I'm rather satisfied that he's to be coached by Pep, it will force him to think team first.

Very nice to hear about the story of your son and Gerland. I miss our old grounds even if they were undoubtedly awful. The new Groupama is too far away from the town and the match day is experience is not my cup of tea. I loved walking to the center of the town on the Rhône River banks after the games. If you ever come to Lyon again, feel free to contact me, I'd be happy to share a beer together.
Your English is spot on mate

No, I used the media going in on Beckham as an example of someone that's had it worse.

It's nothing to do with skin colour and everything to do with Liverpool

The Liverpool FC media department were briefing out, anti Sterling stories to their mates in the press before he’d even left the club. Despicable behaviour.

10 people should leave. None of the uncles should stay. We can’t fix everything in one window but we can get close to our best by 2026

Lets hope he signs and doesn't train, drinks a bottle of whiskey a day, smoke 2 packs of cigarettes and does Street Panna before Street Panna becane a thing . Why do we think he is so cheap and why has no one gone for him? Is he just good and no one made the effort?]

Disagree.
Need to be ruthless.
O'Reilly for Phil - Phil needs to earn his spot after this season

With a sober mind this week i went back and reviewed our season and realized Phil had 2 very good months interspersed with Injuries, illness, poor form, and being protected. If you extrapolate those 2 months for a whole season, you get a slightly less impressive Phil that POTS Phil. I can live with that.

In a way, he has a similar season to Haaland. We just viewed it differently.

But; appreciate your staunch take on ruthlessness. I in principle agree with it. I just dont think Phil is on the potential cut or loan out line. Everyone i didn't mention is.
